They might be long lasting, but not so much when used in timed holiday lights!
I still had to replace these batteries several times in my holiday light strands. Only lasted a couple of days each time.

Longer lasting than dollar store batteries.
Normally I buy dollar store batteries but my daddy says they die fast. After he's used them I put them in my Discman and they last about 3-4 days. With the Duracell I get at least a week after he's done with them. So at $1.50 apiece they last longer than the 50 cent ones.
