Slime 1051-A Rubber Cement, Tire Repair, Use with Slime Plugs or Patches, 1 oz. Tube

I’ve used a lot of tire repair products over the years, but the Slime 1051-A Rubber Cement has earned a permanent spot in my toolbox. The first time I used it was during a plug repair on a punctured tire, and it made the whole process smoother and more reliable. The cement spreads easily, stays workable long enough to position the plug or patch correctly, and bonds fast once everything is in place. What I really like is how well it pairs with Slime plugs and patches—it clearly does exactly what it’s designed to do. The 1 oz. tube may look small, but a little goes a long way, and it seals confidently without feeling messy or overly runny. I’ve driven thousands of miles on repairs made with this cement, and they’ve held up without leaks or issues. If you want peace of mind when fixing a tire, this is one of those simple products that makes a big difference.

Had a flat while riding. Used with plug to get me home. Let sit for 45 min before riding. Plug with cement lasted until I replaced tire 3 months later.

I use this not to patch tires but to help get plugs in and to help seal the plug in the tire puncture. It works great.

Love this glue for air mattress! Same as fixing a tube. Scruff up put rubber cement down and spread so it will cover the whole patch you use, hold for a minute or two and done in five minutes to add air.

Bought to repair a pin hole in a 10 speed road bike tube. Left it with the patch for several days to cure and the tire did not hold air. Had I known DH was trying to repair the tube, I would have skipped the slime and ordered a new tube for less money. He thought he was being thrifty. Now we have glue and a new tube on the tire.
