Effectively a low powered fan. Waste of money
This is basically a low powered fan with a water resevoir where you can place water and/or ice. However, adding water/ice makes very little difference to the temperature of the air being blown around.If the cooling worked this fan would still not be worth the price, as it is it's a big waste of money. I returned mine and bought a regular fan. Next year I will buy a much more expensive option

Much better than just a normal air fan
Makes a great difference between using a normal fan and this evaporator. Fill it up with ice cubes or water and on the lowest fan speed you'll get about 4 to 6 hours of cool air. Adding in some peppermint oil during the day creates a fresh smell or lavender at night. It's a bit noisy in the bedroom but once you get used to it the white noise actually helps sleep.

Light weight and easy to use but not very effective
I bought this for use in a very small room. It's very easy to use and omits a lovely light. It's also light in weight but even stood close up I didn't really think it was very effective which was a little disappointing. Quite noisy too if you're sat close to it. Would be unlikely to buy again I'm afraid.

Effective little toy
Really easy to use. Cools the air well. It’s only small so don’t expect that much, but it is better than I expected.

Worth every penny
Much quieter than a standard fan.Works much better too at keeping you cool.Only downside is that the water compartment could be s bit bigger maybe.

Small and should be used only for kids
It’s small but then what do you expect in this price! Good for a baby to keep them comfortable. For adult, you have to keep the air blowing on your face to help you cool down. I used it but then decide to buy a conventional fan as it’s very small for me.

The single worst thing I have ever bought in the history of buying things.
I can only imagine the positive reviews of this product aren't genuine. Quite simply, the product doesn't work. Well, it turns on. Makes a noise. Evaporates some water. But it doesn't cool anything. In fact, it's more likely to heat up a room due to the energy it uses.Cheap? Yes.Cheerful? No.
