connector is flimsy
The center connecting part has broken. It appears that the red connector was glued on in the first place, and the glue was administered way too sparingly. I will apply glue more liberally to see if it can be fixed.

Good roller at a good price.
This is a pretty decent roller. It is VERY firm, which we don't mind one bit. I'm honestly not sure why they decided to make it able to come apart in the middle. It really doesn't make it any more portable or add any benefit other than using the halves independently should you choose to. It does introduce a potential point of weakness though at that junction. I've not seen any issues with it yet, but that will be a test of time.Overall, I'm happy with the purchase and would buy it again.

Good bumpy roller
Great bumpy roller, really gets into the tight spots. I would prefer it to be one piece, not two pieces to screw together into one long roller. Recommended.

Where have you been all my life?
My gym instructor turned me on to the rollers. I have poor circutation in my legs and pain behind my knees. This puppy feels so good for the body, like a "poor man's massage" with benefits!

The Dragon Lady is Damaged Goods, but I think I LOVE HER.
Broke the first time I used it. ONE STAR for the defect. FIVE STARS for the potential. Averaging to THREE STARS.I weigh about 185 lbs and eased my weight upon this Dragon and started gently rolling to the sound of plastic creaking and popping within seconds, the center joint widening as the two halves pulled apart. Each half has a female threaded piece that is glued into each end and you join them together by threading with a two-sided male coupling to make one longer roller. Well, these female threaded parts aren't glued in very well at all. The female threaded part that popped out of the end of the one half shows signs of ALMOST NO GLUE WHATSOEVER being applied to it. Someone half my weight would have broken it loose, I'm sure. This thing is so close to being a FIVE STAR product, but the factory needs to get their act together: USE MORE GLUE.But I like this thing. The two halves seem to be very well made. The tubes appear to be somewhat durable, the plastic is reasonably thick and the foam pyrimidal spikes are what I consider to be just the right amount of firmness: not soft or mushy, but borderline hard, rigid enough to do what they are supposed to do: disrupt the body. I was not looking for a wimpy roller. I was looking for a semi-midevil torture device to discipline my tense muscles and pummel me into submission, oh yeah. It hurt so good. I like it rough. And I like the caps with the adorable Rat tattoos that screw onto the outer ends to make the tube into a usable storage space, that's smart stuff. This thing means business. If the Dragon were a woman I'd propose marriage.I'm smitten. I'm going to try to save this relationship. I assume this thing is made of PVC, it seems to be the same plastic sprinkler piping is made of. So rather than send her packing I am going to pick up some GLUE and try to patch her up real good. It's not her fault she came from a bad home. She just needs a little love. Aren't we all fixer-uppers? After a bit of quality time, a few (protein) drinks, some more rolling around naked on the floor together, a little healing, couple's therapy, I think we can make it work.
