Easy peasy, cool and breezy. Extremely nice looking and easy to install. If you can put batteries in a toy or any item that uses batteries; can plug something into a wall socket; use the small flat blade screwdriver (included) to pop off a cover; put an adhesive sticky patch on an item; then you can master this in a flash. The only time that you might need some mechanical skills is if you want to install the doorbell button with screws to door post or wall. I am hard of hearing and cannot hear when some knocks at the door, so we were looking for something that would like ring a bell and have a light go off so that I could tell or be made aware of someone at the door. This little item fixed our problem almost instantly. 30 something different musical notes act as bell and red, white and blue lights flash in a soft muted way so as not to startle you but draw your attention to the easy to see lights as they flash. Basically, it took me less time to mount the doorbell button and plug in the receiver (light & bell module) than it did to write this review. I think you will be very pleased with this wireless doorbell that has both sound (volume adjustable) and lights to catch your attention. I would recommend this nifty and inexpensive gadget to anyone....... Sorry, I have to go, someone is at the door!

This doorbell is so freakin awesome! I will say that it’s completely comparable with any Honeywell or other well known product. At a fraction of the price! Now I can’t speak for the adhesive tape, because I used the screws, however I can say that the double sided tape is much thicker than the average over the counter tape. The tones are great! And loud enough to hear throughout the house, including upstairs, door closed what have you. I’m in an environment with plenty of sun and even more rain and it stands up to these elements wonderfully! I highly recommend this product. The price for what you get is actually quite insane. Because ordinarily you “get what you pay for” this statement couldn’t be further from the truth! Excellent product. Your search is over. Just buy it already!

My wife uses this to tell me when dinner is ready while I’m working in my studio. I set it up so no sound just light blinks. It save her a lot of aggravation trying to get my attention

I live in a multistory home with a wonderful (but sometimes loud) dog. The living room is on the second floor - so the doorbell serves an important function.. but my dog cannot handle the sound without losing her mind. The pros: It's silent and bright/flashy! I have an outlet where I mostly notice if an unexpected doorbell is pressed (eg. For a package) and if I don't, at least my dog didn't panic. And for expected guests, it gives me enough time to gather treats to reward calm greetings before excitement ensues. Cons: This silent doorbell doesn't really "press". When you touch it, it lights up - but I can't really see the transmitrer light up in the daytime. The recover works great day or night, but I think no manual push feedback on the doorbell button is confusing to your average guest. And ultimately that small a receiver can only be notices so much. It would be useful to have multiple receivers to plug in across the house - but for the price point it's great.

These work very well for call lights. Especially since you can have them flash with or without noise. This is the easiest way to alert family member who is in another room with noise cancelling headset on (that is not also hooked up to their phone) that they are needed, because even if they can’t hear it, they can see it. Also great for those who need to be able to alert a caregiver in a break room that they are in need of something, without the sound going off because they are noise sensitive or the sound would affect someone else in the household. Good product!

I bought this for my son and I to communicate while I'm working from home. I needed something to let me know he needed something when I was on a call. Mounted the push button part outside the door, and hung the light above my desk. You can turn it to silent, so all it does is light up which is an awesome feature. Only downside is, it has to be plugged into an outlet to work. I had mine hanging in the wall, plugged into an extension cord.

I like this product. I do wish it had a bigger flashing light. I kind of wish I got one with 2 or more of the flashing lights/sound components so when I am in my living room, kitchen or bedroom etc I can still see/hear it. The instructions were a bit difficult to really understand for me. But it was easy enough to set up and use. I was able to do it myself - and I am not very handy! The volume is adjustable. You get to pick from many different tones. Now if only I could train my adult daughter to use it (press the doorbell) before barging in to my separate living quarters!!!
