UPDATE: After just one year of use in a 2 person household, this brush broke at the plastic stem where the brush attaches to the soap dispenser. I am highly disappointed and emailed the company, who states on their website.... "At OXO, we believe in better – better design, better functionality, better experience – and that’s exactly how we make our products. For more than two decades, we’ve made tools that delight and exceed expectations. Our curiosity drives us. Your satisfaction inspires us. And we hope our attention to detail is why you’ll reach for our products again and again. If you’re not satisfied with your purchase, we want to hear about it. I emailed them 5 days ago, and received an automated response informing me they respond to all emails within 24-48 hours. I have heard nothing further. I really like the OXO products and own a number of them, however, it they cannot resolve this to my satisfaction, they will not get another dime from me. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I purchased this over 9 months ago. I have used other brands of this type of soap dispensing dish brush for years but they always seem to wear out after a period of time. After visiting my sister and seeing she had this brand, I decided to give it a try. It is a little larger than the others I had previously and so far seems to be durable. I cook a lot so this brush gets a workout multiple times each day. The only one downside is that there does not seem to be a way to regulate the amount of soap that it dispenses. It doesn't matter if you push the button gently or a good solid push, the same amount of soap comes out. And sometimes you only need a little dab, but you get a big dollop. Other than that, it is a great product and I would purchase it again.

I’ve used this palm scrubber for years. It worked well until the design change a few years ago. This knob at the bottom breaks off too easily. I end up having to purchase a new base multiple times a year. Also, when the design was changed, the threading on the replacement head was made too short. You see, I am left-handed. When I used the palm scrubber in my left hand in a circular motion, the brush comes off! I have to re-attach the brush and scrub in the opposite direction of my natural tendency. I am surprised that OXO did not test for this. So much for ease of use. I have been purchasing the replacement brushes via subscription on Amazon and my partner has said it is time to try something new and stop wasting money on something that breaks repeatedly on a regular basis. (We’ve been working from home since March, and this is the second one to break since then.)

I keep buying them every month because I feel that works better but thry do fall apart after a couple weeks.

The OXO Good Grips Soap Dispensing Palm Brush is hands down my favorite kitchen dish soap dispenser. It’s one of those simple tools that makes everyday dishwashing much easier and more convenient. What I really like about it is the built-in soap dispenser. You simply fill the handle with dish soap and press the top button to release just the right amount while scrubbing. It keeps everything neat and eliminates the need to constantly grab the soap bottle. The brush design works extremely well for cleaning dishes, pots, and pans. The bristles are firm enough to remove food and grease but still gentle enough for everyday dishware. Another great feature is the ergonomic grip. The brush fits comfortably in your hand and gives you good control while scrubbing. The non-slip design makes it easy to use even when your hands are wet. I also appreciate how durable and well-built OXO products are. This brush holds up well over time, and when the bristles wear out, the replacement brush heads are easy to swap out, which extends the life of the handle. Overall, it’s a simple but very effective kitchen tool that makes dishwashing faster and easier. If you want a reliable dish brush with a built-in soap dispenser, this one is excellent. Definitely my favorite dishwashing brush.

I'm a huge fan of the OXO Good Grips series of products because I have rheumatoid arthritis in my hands, as well as having had my right arm/hand mostly reconstructed surgically, and I find that this line of products is especially thoughtful and useful for people with hand grip issues. It was nice to find it so reasonably priced on Amazon, after having thrown away in disgust my previous dish scrubber/soap dispenser, which fell apart after just a few uses. The OXO Good Grips scrubber surprisingly cost about the same as the one I threw away, which I had purchased in my local grocery store. However, the OXO brand scrubber has a lot more going for it, namely, it holds at least as much soap in the barrel as did my "wand" type scrubber, the bristles are sturdy and appear they will last a long time and are replaceable when they wear out. The lid has the typical "skid resistant" feel that a lot of the Good Grips line has, so there's little chance of dropping this one constantly with wet hands. It also fits nicely into the palm of my hand, giving me a better and easier grip on it than the wand type I was using before. It is also not hard to remove the lid to add in more dishwashing soap, which dispenses by pressing a soft spot on the top of the scrubber. Also you can use it, the packaging says, on non-stick cookware, so that's a plus, but I haven't needed to try that out yet. I also haven't looked up yet how much replacement bristles will be, but it doesn't appear that I will be needing them anytime soon. With a lot of these type of dish scrubbing items, it almost seems easier to throw the whole thing out when the sponge rips off or something else goes wrong, plus most have blatantly wasted the dishwashing soap, which you can control on this item. With this scrubber, I think I would take the time to replace the bristles as the item overall feels very sturdy and well-made, something worth keeping and using over and over. Definitely have to say I would recommend this item to anyone -- and especially if you have any type of arthritis or grip issues, the entire OXO Good Grips line is worth checking out and investing in. I only have a couple of their items, but the ones I have are an amazing assistance. It looks like adding this item was a good choice too. I expect to get a lot of use out of it.

Love this product, have been using it for years. Bought one for a friend, she loves it too. Perfect for scrubbing a dish or two when you don't want to put them in the dishwasher or fill the sink. Good for scrubbing sinks out too. Refillable and good quality.
