These are the wrong springs for your 98Gm the correct coils are wound tighter on one end and a lower correct ride height. These will make your "Ass" ride higher than normal and don't seat rite on the axle. Go with diff option! Hope that helped.

Q: Will these work on an 87 crx?

I installed them on a 1985 Trans Am. You can go to the Moog website and search springs by any feature to see what fits your application.

Q: are these springs intended to actually raise your car height

Did the same on my ride. Wrong coils. They fit just wrong spring rate and height as you can see by now... for Fbody cars these will not work dangerous to drive on/ corner braking.
