When you’re using both lenses at the same time can you flip one of them up out of the way? Are the lens held in place securely

Yes, it's very easy to use 2 separate sets of lenses and I find it very helpful for very up close work using both lenses,then moving slightly back using 1 lens. It's very easy.

would these work for someone who is working on cars as an automobile repair person? Just wondering if you can walk around and bend over.

Yes, the lenses flips up out of the way when you don’t need it. ( like when you need to walk or bend over ). The head gear is very durable and stays still on your head. I would highly recommend this product.

How do yo get a ups tracking number when amazon ships from ups and you have received your package?

Amazon will provide a tracking number when you item is shipped, however, they don't always use UPS, they have their own delivery system which, I find to be excellent as they will provide a location map (on your computer, smart cell, etc., usually starting when they are 10 stops away) of where your delivery is and it's a live map (updated frequently), which, makes it easy to know when the will be at your location!

Is the distance given in the 'Distance to viewed objects' chart, the distance from the lens or from the eyes?

In my case the distance is from the eye. For the 2X lens the distance for me is 10 to 12 inches and varies slightly depending on the angle of the lens on the visor. I think the distance will vary Slightly from person to person depending on the status of your vision.
