Am I missing something? It's just a kettle right? But it has a temperature control. £340 seems like an utterly insane price for a kettle

It is a very high price listed on Amazon.
Anywhere & everywhere else on the internet it's listed at ~£150 (which is still a *lot* for a kettle....but it is beautiful - In my opinion).

Also:
There is a hidden video game in the firmware.
There is a °C/°F switch on the back of the base/charging station.

Flick this switch back & forth (quickly) a few times & it will launch a version of "Snake" (much like on the old Nokia mobile phones from the late 90's / early 00's.

The temperature display is the screen & the snake is controlled (left/right) by twiddling the temperature control wheel.

There is actually a world ranking for this hidden game 😃

So....£150 *is* expensive for a kettle.
BUT

It's cheap for a video games console that also boils water 😃
Can your PlayStation do that?!?! 😃

The 220v version ships with a UK standard plug.
