Little Tikes Easy Store Large Slide

(2-4-2016) To Little Tikes Corp & Customers: My wonderful 2 1/2year old LOVES SLIDES, we spent majority of last summer; I'm talking about 6-8hour days, 3-4 days a week; at the best community park here in SE Fort Wayne Indiana. My Nycelina would spend about 10% of her valuable time weating and snacking, 5% resting her little body by my side (including poddy breaks), and 85% of her time on the multiple variety of slides available...once she discovered playground slides it was all over with ... Indoors, she would place pillows or use her mattress to slang from the couch to the floor... And she would do her best sliding down on her makeshift slide... Since Christmas I have been searching for a toddler slide that could be indoors or outdoors...from step 2 to alpine ridge, American plastic as well as YOURS TRULY: Little Tikes. I knew adventually I would "bite the bullet" and pay the outrageous price of 50$-200$ on a slide for my Nycelina. However I was not expecting to do it so soon! When I saw my daughter sliding her cinnioman toast crunch cereal pieces down slides on the back of the box ...I knew the time to purchase was now. However, $100.00 or more is hard for anyone in the lower middle class, single motherville, to spend on a single slide, I mean the 9-5 job barely covers bills..so buying a luxury is "priceless" to us.... WITH THAT SAID!!!! FELLOW PURCHASERS...THIS SLIDE IS WORTH EVERY DIME SPENT AND THEN SOME! The plastic is durable and so far has been able to endure the wrath of an energetic toddler PLUS her three ROUGH HOUSING BOY COUSINS! The slide itself was not difficult to put together once I read the directions (and had a man to help me; little me couldn't hack it)...and I truly believe if my daughter could sleep on it she would! Non stop fun for my daughter, her stuffed animals and her cousins..OKAY I ADMIT IT, MYSELF INCLUDED.. (Product weigh limit is 75lbs; I am a little less than 120lbs)... I had to make sure it was safe, other involved energetic mommies will understand ;)... The SLIDES SLOPE is wonderful for an indoor/outdoor piece .... My daughter is 32 inches in length and I would not suggest paying for a smaller slide for a toddlers first slide in general... TODDLERS GROW SO FAST..SO WHY SPEND AROUND $60+tax/shipping for a FIRST TODDLER SLIDE YOU WILL PROBABLY HAVE TO REPLACE IN A YEAR DUE TO YOUR CHILD OUTGROWING IT? That was my first thought when I looked at the smaller version of the slide ... Now that it's all said and done with, I am glad I rationalize this in my mind and bought what I consider to be the wiser choice of the toddler slides now that is all said and done with...... She would not have as much fun sliding down a slide that was less than a foot to the ground once she sat on it... The bigger slide offers my daughter so much more joy and thrills not to mention the slide offers my toddler room to grow and still enjoy the slide for months and months to come .... COMPLETELY WORTH THE EXTRA 30-40$... Little Tikes was the brand that I went with because of the durable plastic that their product is made of. And most of all, the fact that it is not an Overwhelming Big and Bulky product for the indoors!.... It actually fits quite nice in our small/moderate home without looking tacky. I RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT FOR CUSTOMERS WITH 1-3 YOUNGER CHILDREN... Please Note that between my sister and myself, we buy multiple brands and multiple toys for our children to have at home and at the grandparents homes...combine us and you have an entire toys r us for our total of 4 children...ages 2, 2 1/2, 4, and 6.. One girl (my baby) and her three boys!! Both genders LOVE THIS SLIDE AND HAVE HOURS AND HOURS OF FUN... BOTH SUPERVISED AND MODERATE SUPERVISION (not hovering).... This toddler slide has Wide Steps and Easy Grip Plastic to stop themselves from going to fast if they wish as well as the ability to be climbing up the steps to the platform to sit on with ease...This Specific Little Tikes Product Absolutely Exceeded My Expectations.... My daughters absolutely love this slide! They are 4 years old and almost 2 years old, and it has been a big hit for both of them. It’s fun, sturdy, and a great size for little kids. They enjoy playing on it every day, and I’m very happy with this purchase. Definitely recommend it for toddlers and young children.

You need this for your little ones ! It is the perfect height for my toddler to go down and it’s honestly not to big to keep in the house and it fold up for easy storage ! The instructions were clear and it was super easy for me to put together .

We LOVE this slide. It is very sturdy and I'm sure it will last years. It's a bit bigger then I expected but that's ok. At first it can be hard to put together because it's only pictures but once I looked up "little tikes slide instructions" on YouTube and watched a video it was much easier. There is not much to put together it's just hard for the green pieces to go or fit into place but the video suggested putting a little dishwashing soap on the holes then putting it in so thats what I did then it was easier and less frustrating. The slide was my daughters big present for her 5th bday (she loved it) I think an even older kid could play on it for sure. Also my daughter is special needs and although it is a little tricky for her transitioning at the top to a sitting position she is learning fast, I'm sure a younger neurotypical child would be able to use this slide as well.

The slide is nice, but when it was delivered, it’s missing the red caps that are supposed to go over to the screws

Easy peasy pop up and close for storage nice sturdy 2 year old cousin loves so does her 5 year old sister it’s alittle taller then the smaller ones so they can keep playing longer won’t out grow so fast of course ya gotta watch lil ones but she absolutely loves it

This is a great slide! Got it for our granddaughter who is 1 1/2 years old. It is a little bit tallish, and for the first couple of tries, she was hesitant and hung on pretty tight. But not for long! Soon she was going down head first and with no hands! I feel that this taller slide will have much more longevity to it being fun to play on for a longer time than the super small ones. The center bar does pop off on one side so that you can fold it up to move it or store it. Although, even folded up it is a fairly large piece of equipment! Indoor or outdoor. I noticed a lot of reviewers had trouble attaching the stairs to the stair base, and we were no exception! My son and I tried and tried every angle and trick we could think of and couldn't get it done. Finally my husband stepped in with a little more meat and muscle and he stood on the stairs and jumped a little, which gave it just enough pressure to wedge the two sides in just a touch - then he did as the instructions suggested and picked it up and slammed it down a couple of times on our carpeted living room floor and that did the trick! But it had to get wedged in enough to stay together for the slamming for it to work. Don't give up! It does actually fit together, even though it doesn't seem like it will - and then afterwards its makes it very, very sturdy.

Once we figured out how to put it together (i recommend putting in the bolt on the open part of the arm first), I couldn't be happier. My 24 month old (who is 35.5 inches tall and 30 lbs) loves playing on this slide. She in the climbing stage and this has saved me from all the mini heart attacks. She especially loves it when we pile pillows at the end for her to knock down. This slide is extremely sturdy, easy to fold up and put in a closet and made of great plastic. The stairs are perfect size for little feet, and the handles on side make it easy for my girl to climb up. This slide is worth it's weight in gold and will be a favorite of my daughter's for a long time. My daughter drew all over it with chalk which cleaned really easy with a wet wash cloth. I do feel this is safe for kids who have good walking coordination, and strong enough to grip the handles.

This thing is huge haha I got it as an alternative and a step up from the smaller kids slide and wow, that 1-2 steps higher make a huge difference. I put it together myself but was pretty frustrated by the end of it. Only because I am not suoee strong to snap the brace under the slide into place but was too impatient to wait for help. Super happy with this slide and is very sturdy

Woaw la verdad a mi bb le encanto, es de buen tamaño, es resistente y de buena calidad. Lo que a veces sucede es que para armarla cuesta un poco, pero a mi bb le encanto la recomiendo como de 1 año hasta 8 años creo yo jejejeje depende también del tamaño del nin@

Great sturdy slide, but impossible to put together. If you didn’t have one person with a rubber mallet and another heavy person to stand on it, I don’t know how you could get this together. Impossible to assemble alone.
