Worked for my 2006 Silverado
This connector supplied +12, ground, left and right front, and left and right rear speaker connections. The accessory power line and reverse lines are not part of the original stereo connector and therefore had to be derived from mbec ( google it.) It worked fine out of the box for my 2006 Silverado.

Works for 03 avalance
What to know is that the factory harness in the truck has not accessory power wire so the jumper that comes with this harness is very I'mportant tie all wires in to new harness besides the red wire on new harness you will jump this wire from an accessory wire coming from your ac control panel. You will need a volt meter to find the wire you need start by checking with switch off for a constant which will have 12v with switch off than turn switch on and hunt for another wire that reads around 12v this will be your jumper wire. Hope this helps.

GM radio wiring harness
After reviewing the order, I saw what the red wire was for, but I wish it had that information on the packaging. Otherwise it is a good product at a reasonable price.

Red Wolf wiring harness
I purchased the Red Wolf wiring harness for a 2002 Chevrolet Impala base model and I am satisfied with the purchase. It is installed and functioning properly. I had to use the additional red wire and make a Accessory wire to turn the deck off with the key but I got it working. It is really one of the only wiring harnessess that will work.

Does not fit my vehicle, despite saying that it does.
I purchased this because it said that it fit my vehicle. I spent hours taking apart my dash to install a new stereo and then trying to figure out why it wouldn't power up. It was because this harness is not the correct one, the wires did not match up correctly. I ended up having to put everything back together and finding another harness that was the correct match.

04 Silverado...ehhh...it can work.
So, for all intents and purposes, it works. Harness connector fits the factory plug, speakers are correct, power is correct, but the factory wiring does not have a 12v acc wire present, and you gotta have that for the unit to power up. This won't be an easy job for a beginner, and it was a bit of a pain for me, and I'd consider myself intermediate. The broken English in the instructions doesn't help...at all. A little research, and I found what I needed...which required a trip to the big box home improvement store. It started feeling like a "free" puppy $50 later. You're going to need a voltmeter, something to jump off of your fuse box (make sure you don't jump off of anything necessary for vehicle operation, and don't jump off of something that is continuously powered,) a little ingenuity, YouTube, anger management courses, NyQuil (so you can sleep at night and not think about why your radio isn't working,) lots of beer, and a strong vocabulary of curse words. Once you've ran that wire, it will attach to the red acc 12v wire from your new unit's harness. If you wired everything properly, you will have a working unit. You can search YouTube for "acc wire from fuse panel," and you should find what you need for that. I also ended up using a previously installed XM radio acc wire because the one supplied was too short. That's also why you'll need anger management courses. Keep in mind, no matter what harness you buy, you'll have this problem. This isn't an error on Red Wolf's part. But their instructions were garbage, and helped zero. Hope this helps, and be sure to just go ahead and get about 20-25 ft of similar gauge wire for your acc from the fuse panel. It's cheap, and it's better to have too much than not enough.

Works but no diagram
Used this to install a pioneer stereo into my 2005 sierra 2500HD w/ bose It worked - but one of the wires (12v switched) was incorrect and comes from a second harness, which this didn't include. A wiring diagram would've been helpful, which is not included with the product. Everything else worked and was right, and the second harness only has 3 wires so it was easy to locate the one with switched power.

The way to go when replacing a stereo. No cutting of the stock harness. Wire colours all lined up with my aftermarket Kkmoon deck.
