Good batteries at great price, comparing with the ones the Smart oil gauge came with and cheaper too, so far happy with purchased

I bought a few of these to replace in an oil tank level sensor. I originally had the Saft brand, but they were no longer available on Amazon. At first glance they looked fine. After I installed them into my level sensors (2x per sensor), my App tells me that the battery charge is 'poor'...meaning they have little power left. After some verification with a DMM (voltage meter), they are barely 3.6V. New Saft batteries run about 3.66V when new. These were at 3.61V to 3.59V. Not sure what voltage they are under load. I tested all 10 of them in my sensors and none of them gave me a battery condition indication of "Good" or "Excellent" on my level sensor App. What a waste of $$!! I'm going back to Saft!Followup: Reading the responses from the manufacturer, they claim the battery likely has to be de-passivated. They discuss this in their ad:"All of our batteries have date-code to guarantee freshness. However, lithium thionyl chloride battery has a passivation characteristic. Therefore, we highly recommend customer to use the battery within 3 months to receive optimal performance. Although our battery has a 20-year shelf life (under special storage conditions), we advise customers not to store batteries for a long time due to the passivation characteristic. It is highly recommended that you purchase as many as you need."What regular customer has that discharge 'equipment'? I used these batteries the same day I received them (they weren't sitting around for 3 months at my house) and I had low voltage. So, they may have been passivated already sitting at an Amazon warehouse. BTW, when you de-passivate a cell, it actually reduces the total capacity of the cell (it won't last as long). If you do not have a high-drain device powered by this battery, you cannot de-passivate it. So, the only option is to have the right 'equipment' (i.e. electronic circuitry) to properly and SAFELY de-passivate. I don't have that, nor did the manufacturer provide a safe way for an end user to do this. End result - you are screwed.

These didn’t work in our key pad for solar gate. To short for some reason. Didn’t bother returning.

These arrived at full voltage and last a while in our WiFi oil tank monitor.

They are just what I needed for my gate. They are the only ones that will fit and you cannot buy them anywhere except on line

These batteries came quickly and were well-packaged. I'm only giving 4 of 5 stars for battery life b/c I've only had them working for a week so far, but everything about them leads me to believe they will perform adequately

Disliked because after 2 1/2 months battery began to start chirping. Purchased new in October 2024. Here it is February 2, 2025. 4 of these batteries were not cheap (in cost that is), but in quality. The service of this battery was for my glass breakage above the door in sunroom. WILL NOT BUY AGAIN. THAT'S JUST A FACT.
