Exactly what I was looking for to have full control over my Android HTPC
I am extremely pleased with my Rii mini K12. It works flawlessly. I purchased this keyboard/touchpad combo specifically to use with my Rockchip RK3188 Android TV media center. I'm nearing the end of my second week using this device and I don't have a single complaint. It's absolutely gorgeous. Very solid, extremely well made, stainless steel construction. I was apprehensive because I wanted something small but I didn't want to struggle with the keys. The K12 came very nicely packaged and ended up being much smaller than it appears online. The touchpad is huge though, and that's awesome!Setup was effortless, pop the dongle out of the back of the keyboard and stick it in an available USB port, and that's it! No drivers to mess around with, no configuration, this sucker just works straight out of the box! I honestly had reservations as I have much experience in dealing with computer peripherals and the last "all in one" wireless input device I had was simply horrible. This device however has risen to the top of my favorite toy list. The keyboard works great for what it's intended. I surely wouldn't sit down to write a novel on it, but for typing in URL's, search boxes, passwords, etc. it does the job very well. The dedicated android keys are a huge plus, and again they just work... all of them, regardless of which app I'm using. The touchpad is waaay better than I expected. It's very sensitive which is great, but can also be trying at times. Due to the super compact form factor of the mini K12, there is almost no border between the edge of the touchpad and the edge of the keyboard. This can result in some unintentional screen touches. I need to be careful how I hold the keyboard. As far as controlling the mouse is concerned, although a little bit of practice is necessary, there's nothing I can't do. Swiping, selecting, dragging, it's all a piece of cake. I was also able to setup gestures which I thought for sure wasn't going to work.Battery life is fine, I can hammer away on it for hours without worrying about recharging. I try to be sure and plug it in every night, but even if I don't, It has plenty of juice to get through most of another day. I normally sit at least 20 feet away and never have any connection issues... Unless the battery is almost dead or my line of sight is heavily blocked. The ONLY thing that could improve my experience with the mini K12 would be a backlit keyboard which would reduce my mid-movie struggles. It kinda stinks when you think you're hitting the pause key but end up hitting the advance track key. Not a really huge issue however as I knew this keyboard wasn't backlit when I bought it. If Rii tek (hopefully) decides to make a backlit version, I'll be the first one to order it!I highly recommend this keyboard/touchpad combo. Thank you Rii tek for an excellent product! Give it a shot, you won't be disappointed!

CRAZY GOOD
Had this keyboard for a couple years now, and its honestly amazing. Build quality it amazing, battery life amazing, usb-c, touchpad works great, and the bluetooth range is really good 30 plus ft. Only thing I could knock it on is size but that can be a good or bad thing. It is compact, but is too small to have your fingers on home row. Overall fantastic product.

A horrible keyboard, don't buy
I was really excited about this item and bought this based on other people's reviews and was really disappointed with what I got.At first, I was upset with the layout of some of the buttons, e.g. minus and plus are in the weirdest possible location and the proximity of buttons. My fingers are pretty small-average but I just can't type on this keyboard without making tons of typos.I have several other bluetooth/wireless mini keyboards and none of them have this issue. For about a year now the keyboard suffered from constant disconnects at the worst possible moment, for example when typing a password on Raspberry Pi and not being able to see what letter didn't register. It only got worse with time as the battery became extremely unreliable and would discharge within a few hours of use.At first I thought it was just my unit, but it seems (upon some googling) that many people suffer from these issues. As of September 2018, which is about a year since I bought this keyboard, I've stopped using it completely. It's just not good for anything anymore and is basically a huge waste of money.I've since replaced any and all need for wireless mini keyboard with the one that came with a Raspberry Pi set and have been very happy with it, even though it doesn't have some of the buttons Rii has.In any case though, avoid this brand/keyboard as it's not very well made.

Overall it's a good keyboard, but I have a couple minor complaints.
This is just a personal preference, but I do not like how the mouse button keys are located to the bottom left of the rest of the keys. I hold the keyboard with two hands normally, one on the top left and one on the bottom right. This allows me to use my right hand/thumb on the trackpad, and my left hand to provide support for when I am standing or the keyboard is in my lap. If the mouse button keys were located at the top left, I would be able to easily move the cursor using the trackpad with my right hand/thumb, and clicking with my left thumb.I also don't like that it goes to sleep after such a short time, I believe that it goes to sleep after 5min or less, which makes you have to press a key to wake it back up. I know this isn't really a problem, but I personally find it annoying.Battery life is pretty good, I usually have to recharge it after about a week of moderate use. I mostly use this as a way to control my media center PC, which is hooked up to my living room TV, and it serves that purpose well. I like that it has a place to keep the USB dongle if I ever need to travel with it.It worked perfectly out of the box, drivers installed automatically on both of the Windows and Linux computers I have used it with. Due to the size of the keyboard, it takes a little getting used to when typing on it, but that is to be expected with any compact keyboard.
