Gigabyte GM-M7700B Compact Bluetooth Laser Mouse

This mouse gets a charitable 1 star rating only because when it did work, it worked well. That's where my charity ends.As others have said, the mouse would fall asleep and would take a little bit of to do to wake it up. But within a day or two it would be harder and harder to wake up. Now it does not wake up. My Windows machine says there is a mouse connected but that's where the fun ends.I love the bluetooth mouse concept. I have two Logitech V470's (one of which I've had for years) and two Apple Magic Mouse mice. No dongles and they work quite well. This Gigabyte GM-M7700B is not one of those. It seems like it forgets itself and then you have to un-install and re-install. That un-does most of what one loves about bluetooth mice from this device. I really wanted to like this thing. Great price point. Nice feel. They but just can't seem to get the bluetooth right.Also, it doesn't seem to work if you watch a full screen YouTube. You have to turn off the mouse and then turn it back on to get it working after a full screen video is played. What's that all about?!? It seems like it has some kind of fundamentalist ban on the evil of moving pictures.On second thought, I'll give it a second star. I think Microsoft does a rather bad job of making bluetooth manageable, too. I can't let Gigabyte take all of the blame. Plus, the Gigabyte comes in a pretty nice case. Still, though, not that pleased.Update 9/11/2013: A little more please with this since it has performed pretty well on my Ubuntu/Lenovo machine and I was able to successfully connect it to a Samsung Fascinate running Hellybean (Android 4.2 version). I'm now thinking even more that Windows or Dell is the culprit. I'll raise my rating to 4 stars.

I love this mouse. To be honest I didn't expected much after ordering it, but when i got it I was surprised. I will resume all I can say about this mousePOSITIVE:-it worked on several OSes, including an android phone and tablet, windows 7 and more-the mouse automatically pairs itself when I turn my computer on, so I don't have to make the connection everytime. I believe its normal on Bluetooth devices, but its my first bluetooth device so I didn't have experience with it-After long time on standby, the mouse will go to sleep. Its not hard to wake it up as other may have claimed. Just move it and in a seconds it will respond.-It has a on/off switch but I always have it on. I use rechargeable AAA batteries so I don't worry. But for now, the batteries included in the item are still working after a pair of weeks or so.-It came in a VERY NICE transportable case/box for the mouse. No, its not the box the item came in. Its a nice gigabyte hard plastic case to carry your mouse and protect it. Its like a tupperware or something like that. Inside, there's antishock foam. The mouse fits perfectly in there. This is a nice plus!NEGATIVE:-Built quality of the mouse itself is questionable, I mean, its not cheap plastic. But its not unbreakable either. Also its not perfectly finished like other mouses, you can notice it. The carrying case (see positives points) will protect it fine. but I would never, never never put it on my backpack without its case.-Size was disappointing. Ok, its easy to carry thanks to its small size. but my index finger measures 8cm~8.5cm, to give you an idea, and I wish this mouse was 1cm bigger, so I don't have to flex my finger too much. Its a minor thing, I won't take a star away because of this. But just be aware, if your hand has a bigger index finger, then prepare yourself to float your big hand over a small mouse.just my 2 cents.

I ordered this bluetooth mouse by GIgabyte from Amazon for occasional use with my netbook. Price was good and the description sounded fine. Amazon delivered promptly, with product in unopened box. But Step 1 was insert batteries and turn on, which should be followed by LED blinking for 3 seconds. LED came on continuously for about 10 seconds, then turned off. No sign of life from laser. Tested the batteries and they were fine. Went to Step 2 and tried to pair with my bluetooth-equiped netbook. No luck. Not the netbook's fault, as it pairs with another bluetooth mouse for my wife's Dell laptop. The good news: Amazon's return policy is beautiful, and a replacement (same product) was shipped immediately, and received two days later. Now the bad news: The second Gigabyte mouse was as dead on arrival as the first. I'm an engineer by training, and I think I can follow directions pretty well, and I consider myself fairly computer savvy. But I don't like being the final QC inspector for Gigabyte. I immediately returned the second one for refund, and ordered a Microsoft bluetooth mouse. Can't be any worse.Follow-up: I received the Microsoft Bluetooth 5000 mouse today, and tried it out immediately. Less than 2 minutes to set it up and pair it with my netbook. Works beautifully. About five bucks more than the Gigabyte mouse, but it works and the Gigabyte doesn't (at least not the two that I received).

Gigabyte nous a habitué à des souris d'excellente qualité à prix très compétitif, et celle-ci ne fait exception.La première chose qui impressionne en déballant cette souris est sa beauté et l'impression de qualité qui s'en dégage. La finition est parfaite, les plastiques de qualité et les parties siliconées très agréables au toucher. L'assemblage est impeccable, et quelle que soit la force que l’on y met, seul le bouton de réglage de DPI a un léger millimètre de jeu latéral. Lourde par rapport à sa taille réduite, elle semble vraiment solide.L’autre point qui surprend est sa taille réduite. C’est aussi son principal défaut : la main ne repose pas tout à fait sur la souris, ce qui fatigue le poignet en usage intensif.Je ne la recommande donc que pour un usage modéré (deux à trois heures par jour) ou les petites mains (parfait si vous prenez du 6 ou 7 en taille de gants).La souris est simple et agréable à installer et utiliser. Ici pas de récepteur USB à connecter, la souris se connecte à l’ordinateur, tablette ou téléphone en Bluetooth (testée avec succès sur PC et Android).Les boutons tombent naturellement sous les doigts et offrent de bonnes sensations. A noter toutefois que comme sur les autres souris de la marque, le plastique noir brillant tend à s’encrasser facilement (il se nettoie par contre tout aussi aisément).Niveau performances, la souris est réactive et précise, bien plus proche des souris gamer sans fil haut de gamme que des autres souris Bluetooth que j’ai pu tester (qui sont souvent en retrait, même à deux fois le prix de cette souris). Me agrado el producto por varias razones:1. Es muy liviano y cómodo a diferencia del ratón inalambico que tengo, es sumamente agradable al tacto y perfecto al manipularlo2. Es con conexión Bluetooth, lo que me ayuda a tener un puerto USB libre que anteriormente usaba el otro ratón inalambrico con su nanoreceptor, lo cual me viene perfecto.3. Tiene un tamaño adecuado con las manos que tengo, pues no esta muy grande ni muy pequeño.4. Hace uso de pilas AAA, lo cual parece indicar que utiliza muy poca potencia eléctrica, y ademas, podre usar si quiero pilas recargables.5. Viene con un case rígido que ayuda a protegerlo de todo tipo de daño mientras no este en uso, perfecto para el viaje al trabajo, escuela, o para llevarlo en caso de que sea necesario.6. Buen precio para lo que ofrece, y como es.7. Compatible con Windows 10 de 64 bits.No me esta gustando:A. Se desincroniza con facilidad. Si ya estaba conectado a un equipo y se conecta a otro, se desconecta del primer equipo que ya estaba sincronizadoB. Sufre de pequeños e inesperados microtartamudeos o parpadeos que ocasionan que le pierdas la vista al cursor, esto sucede si se deja bastante tiempo inactivo o sale del modo Sleep/Suspensión.

Für mein Tablet wollte ich mir eine Bluetooth Tastatur und eine Bluetooth Maus kaufen. Ich habe mir die Gigabyte Bluetooth Maus M7700B bei Amazon bestellt. Diese war innerhalb von 2 Tagen bei mir und um es vorwegzunehmen: Ich bin begeistert!!!* Aussehen Die Verpackung ist in schwarz gehalten. Öffnet man diese, kommt wieder erwarten eine Plastikbox heraus, welche auf den ersten Blick sehr gut aussieht und einen Schriftzug mit holographischem Effekt hat. Die Box hat den Firmennamen (Gigabyte) und die Modellbezeichnung als Schriftzug. In der Box kommt die Maus zum Vorschein, welche mittels dunklem Schaumstoff am Verrutschen gehindert wird. Die Maus an sich sieht elegant aus. Sie ist in schwarz gehalten. Ein glänzender scharzer breiter Streifen geht in der Mitte von vorne nach hinten. Das Scrollrad, welches sich gut erreichbar in der Mitte befindet ist in einem mattschwarzen Bereich eingebettet. unter dem Scrollrad ebenfalls gut erreichbar befindet sich der DPI Schalter. Das Bluetooth Symbol befindet sich darunter. Außerdem ziert noch der Schriftzug GIGABYTE die Maus. Rechts und Links befinden sich griffige gummierte Flächen, so dass ein Abrutschen so gut wie unmöglich ist. Die Griffflächen für den Daumen und den Ringfinder sind gewölbt, so dass hier noch einmal zusätzlicher Halt gegeben ist. Die gummierten Flächen werden von mattschwarzen Plastik umrahmt. links über der gummierten Fläche sind die 2 Seitentasten angebracht.Auf der Unterseite befindet sich der Ein/ Aus Schalter, sowie der Bluetooth Verbindungsschalter. Die Öffnung für die Laserabtaster und das Batteriefach für zwei AAA Baterien sind ebenfalls von unten erreichbar. Für das Aussehen ein megadickes Plus. Es ist einfach die schickste Maus die mir untergekommen ist.* Handling Die Maus liegt wie schon erwähnt sehr gut in der Hand das Scrollrad, der DPI- Schalter sind einfach zu erreichen. Die Seitentasten sind meines Erachtens jedoch etwas zu weit hinten, da muss man den Daumen schon etwas mehr krümmen um an den hinteren Schalter zu gelangen. Dennnoch eine super Maus, an welche ich mich schnell gewöhnt habe und welche ich nicht mehr missen will. Zu erwähnen ist noch, dass die Maus für Linkshänger wahrscheinlich ungeeignet ist, da sie meines Erachtens komplett auf die rechte Hand abgestimmt ist (Seitentaster sind links, die Mausform ist nach rechts geformt, die linke Einbuchtung für den Daumen ist größer, als die rechte).Also auch für das Handling bei einem Rechtshänder ein dickes Plus.* Pairing Die Maus habe ich für mein Asus Mediapad 7 HD gekauft um dort auch im Browser Mausover Effekte nutzen zu können. Über die Bluetooth Einstellungen des Tablets kann die Maus einfach verbunden werden. Hierzu muss nur nach Bluetooth Geräten gesucht werden und dann auf den entsprechenden Eintrag getippt werden. Nach dem Pairing steht einem dann auch unter Android ein Mauszeiger zur Verfügung.Natürlich will ich die Maus auch auf meinem Notebook unter Windows 7 verwenden. Also auch hier nach neuen Bluetooth Geräten gesucht und den entsprechenden Eintrag ausgewält. Nach kurzer Installation der Treiber funktioniert dies auch zuverlässig und präzise wie jede andere Maus unter Windows. Leider habe ich im Moment unter Windows das Problem, dass die Maus immer wieder neu gepairt werden muss. Unter Android muss ich die Maus einfach nur bewegen, dann wird die Verbindung wieder hergestellt. Hier scheint es wohl noch Optimierungsbedarf bei Windows/ Microsoft zu geben.NACHTRAG bzgl. Windows: Wenn das Pairing unter Windows 7 ohne Pin - Eingabe gemacht wird erkennt auch Windows die Maus hinterher ohne Probleme, netürlich muss Bluetooth bei beiden Geräten eingeschaltet sein. Dann reicht einfach eine Mausbewegung und Windows aktiviert die Maus.* Verwendungszweck Die Maus verwende ich also unter Windows 7 und Android 4.2.2. Die Verwendung unter Windows sollte jedem klar sein. Dort habe ich wie gewohnt den Mauszeiger. Unter Android ist halt zu beachten, dass ich im Prinzip die Touchgesten nun auch mit dem Mauszeiger wischen kann. Links können in einem neuen Tab durch längeres Drücken und anschließendem Klick auf den Kontextmenueintrag aufgerufen werden. Text kann wie gewohnt durch längeres Klicken auf den Text und anschließendem auswählen des Textes angeklickt werden. Bei der Textauswahl ist von Vorteil, dass man mit der Maus viel präzieser klicken kann.Für mich erfüllt die Maus seinen Zweck und ist eine klare Kaufempfehlung. El Raton esta bien, Es ergonomico, tiene buen peso para su tamaño, tiene un tamaño mas grande que los pequeños y mas pequeño que los medianos se quedaria entre y entre pero sigue siendo mas un raton para portatil.Lo de los 10 metros de alcance es relativo ya que si hay algo por el medio afecta al alcance maximo. Por ejemplo si lo pongo en la parte de atras de mi torre va bien encima de la mesa del escitorio pero si me alejo mas de metro y medio empieza a parpadear el puntero y no deja de desactivarse. Si lo pongo en la parte de adelante (he aprovechado el del lector de targetas que no uso y es 2.0) y va genial lo he provado a unos 3 metros y perfecto, no se desactiva y es un raton preciso dentro de su gama.Lo que mas me gusta es la rueda que va super fina y a mucha precision ademas de tener un tacto excelente.Lo de los botenes de pagina atras y pagina adelante que dicen por ahi que el de atras es inalcanzable no se en que mundo viven por que estan en una buena ubicacion y funcionan a las mil maravillas, solo hay que levantar el dedo pulgar medio centimetro para tener acceso a ambos botones.Lo valoro del 1 al 10 en un 8.2 y no le doy 5 estrellas por lo mencionado que si lo pones atras se pierde la conexion a mas de metro y medio.Biene con 2 pequeñas duracel.

La finition de la souris est encore meilleure que ce que l'on peut voir sur les photos. Petite, jolie, légère, prise en main et boutons agréables, et "non durs" (pas de fatigue en cas d'utilisation prolongées).L'emballage est soigné (livrée dans une boîte en plastique, entourée de mousse) et les piles livrées sont des Duracell. Le prix est parfaitement raisonnable. On aurait presque envie d'en faire un stock...Fonctionne parfaitement sous Linux, même avec un portable qui date de 7 ans. Ne pas oublier de l'ajouter dans les périphériques de confiance pour que la reconnection puisse se faire quand la souris se met en veille.À recommander, surtout avec la génération d'ultraportables n'ayant que peu de ports USB. Inutile de gaspiller un port USB3 quand on a du bluetooth...
