I'm a single gal living in a 1 bedroom 1 bathroom duplex in Pittsburgh PA. As such, space is limited, and seeing as I have two cats; it's necessary to buy shelves such as these for storage.I LOVE this shelf SO much. Really. It's wonderful! You put it together yourself; but it's simple, easy, and took me less than 30 minutes.It comes with all the tools necessary, but I'd also use your own toolkit if you have one instead of the turning screwing thing that they provide (sorry, I'm a girl, don't know the correct hardware term).I use it to store just about anything extra I have laying around (spare shampoo, toothbrushes, all those travel toiltery items from hotels, toilet paper, etc.). The baskets are deeper than they look, and hold a LOT of stuff. My only wish is that it was one more basket across. Instead of two, make one with three please.Thanks! Great product!

Hey i order this and came in but only the boxes. No wood shelving? Everyones reviewed pics posted has sweet wood. Wheres my wood? Im confused. Was my money not enough? I could have paid more, im not struggling if you think i couldnt pay more for the wood. Folding boxes are cool but i need wood or they are just bins. I could have found cheaper bins. I dont know, im at work so ill double check everything and see whats up. Hit me back, dan. Oh i should talk more about boxes/shelves they are made of sturdy material i wood ;) recommend it!If you read all thats sorry i was writing it in the headline section and it kept asking for 100 characters. This shelf is just what I was looking for. It was easy to build, and matches the wicker furniture on our 3 season room. The reason I gave it only 4 stars was because the wicker on the baskets is a little loose and rough. We have only had them for a few months, and they look great. I am worried they may unravel some with greater use.

It looks great in my apartment, but the baskets are of poor quality. I'll be keeping my eye out for replacements

It's a nice looking piece, but unfortunately pretty flimsy. Material used to make the baskets also crumbles all the time and leaves dark debris on the floor around (mine is white, so it's a constant cleaning ordeal). It is a very nice, compact size - great for small apartments and spaces. I also consider it a great bargain, so spending $150 I didn't expect to get a piece that would last me a lifetime. It's a good storage solution (these baskets are very roomy and can accommodate a lot of content) and as I already mentioned, it does look very nice. Because of it's construction I wouldn't recommend it for kid's rooms or heavy use.

Very sturdy unit with a good amount of storage space but the baskets smell horrible and shed continuously. Will but other baskets and throw these away.

This book shelf is great! Works well and is a great price. Pretty easy to put together; I was able to put it together in less than an hour with the help of my boyfriend. The color is a dark brown color, just like the description says! Looks great and fits all my books. The only issue with this book shelf is that it won't fit large books, say like a large picture book. All of my other books fit well though.

Bought these for my daughters' bedrooms. We have a new house and while they have a large space downstairs, their actual rooms are very small. These work perfectly as an alternative to a dresser or chest of drawers for their socks, pj's etc. They look very nice and the frames are solid wood. Besides, when we get a place where they can have a dresser, these can function as bookshelves! Very nice.

Much smaller than expected
