Dark Horse Deluxe Dragon Age: Inquisition Playing Cards

These cards are beautiful and well made, but there aren’t that many main characters featured on them. Like at all. San Diego Comic-Con did a release of the same sort of cards a while back, it would be interesting to compare and contrast.Think more like the artwork the game shows you during the loading screens. That’s what you get on the cards: some animals, some demons, some generic race images, some class images, some battle images, and then a small amount of characters (a white one and also a black one of Cole).The art is stunning, of course, but you get what you get.

The deck I use for tarot reading vs. card play usage.They riffle shuffle well and I love the images on the cards.They don't always match the standard definition of the tarot card meaning but I paired this deck with another one not from Amazon and it just works for me.

All in all, I like it a lot.Item arrived quickly and in perfect condition. The cards are good quality but could have been made a little more durable. The images are great (they're all artwork from Dragon Age: Inquisition's "tarot" cards and their codex), but a few of them are some of the "icon graphics" or of lesser known creatures. A couple of them are even monsters (I think?) that I can't even identify from the game. So I would have preferred they focused more exclusively on the main characters.Still a great purchase, especially for the price!

These are so cool. I bought a deck for a friend for Christmas and bought one for myself on the off-chance that I liked them, and wow, am I glad I did. This is one of the most beautiful card decks I've ever owned. The tarot designs from the game are reproduced in very high quality, and assigned in ways that make sense [Sera is the Joker, Leliana is one of the Queens, etc.]. From the quality, I really am surprised that these don't cost more. They're seriously that neat.

Amazing card art and a nice box to go with it. As with most artisan style decks its gonna be harder for you to see what cards are being played so I don't recommend using this deck for anything fast paced. Also the packaging is a bit ruff but its a 8 dollar deck so what are you gonna do.

I am not into video games that much, but my friend loves them. She especially loves Dragon Age. She loved this gift and said the cards matched the tarot images used in the game and she was obsessed with how pretty they looked.

For fans of the game these cards are a great tie-in; the spectacular art captured in Inquisition (often in the form of tarot cards) can now be enjoyed without using your favorite game console. Even for fans of cards in general, this might be a nice addition as every card has a picture on it; a welcome change from the Dragon Age 2 deck offering that had far less art in the deck.For myself personally I was thinking that I might make a kind of homemade poster out of my favorite cards, either in a design or just a large collage since I'm not really into card games but happen to be a huge fan of fantasy art.Whatever you do with the cards, I truly hope you enjoy the art on them as much as I do!

The cards have excellent quality. Great and strong paper. The photos on the cards are very beautiful. Some of the impotent and original cards that show in the game were not printed on those cards, it's a shame. but I already read reviews about it so I knew that before I bought them. Very beautiful art and memory from the game.
