Super good value - easy cleanup!
Perfect for one to three people. Use for reheating soups, pasta, making sauces, etc. The curved edge allows for easy stirring around the edges. The stainless feels more expensive than a $20 pot and it washes up easily. This is the 4th time I’ve purchased this. I’m sending this one to a relative. Everyone likes them because they are easy to use and to clean. If you have gas cook-top, depending on your grate spacing, be careful to place pot in center, as it can occasionally wobble - take time to place it and it’s stabile. No problems wobbling on glass cooktops. This is now our go-to pot for smaller amounts, due to It’s light to mid-weight, easy to grab, lift and wash. And one of our standard lids from another pot fit perfectly. The only thing I would change is the pour spout. For me I prefer it on the other side or even on both sides. But, all in all, this is a workhorse. Great value. Definitely recommend.

Perfect for sauces for 2-3 people
I alway wanted a saucier but they were too expensive. This fit the bill. Workable size and affordable. Naturally, it is great when whisking because of the sloped sides

Works as intended.
Exaactly what I wanted for re-heating my coffee multiple times in a day. I usually get to drink a 1/4 cup at a time then get called away. No spillage outside of the cup.

simple and amazing
The Mirror finish cookware line seems to offer some nice features for home cooks looking for a durable and versatile stainless steel set. The encapsulated aluminum base is a plus, as it should provide even heat distribution and prevent hot spots while cooking. Stainless steel is always a good choice for its durability and ease of maintenance - it won't react with foods or alter flavors. The cool grip and helper handles are convenient for safe maneuvering on the stovetop, and the tapered rim for drip-free pouring is a useful detail. Dishwasher-safe cleaning is another benefit for easy maintenance. Overall, the Mirror finish set appears well-made with some useful design features for everyday cooking. The stainless steel construction should provide good longevity. My only potential reservation would be to check reviews to ensure the aluminum base does distribute heat evenly as claimed. But for cooks wanting a classic stainless steel set, the Mirror finish seems a solid option to consider.

For those able to think outside the box
I see a great deal of negative feedback on this wonderful item, and to those whom dislike it, I say think outside the box. Before I extol the virtues of this item, I admit I almost never use this as a saucier, except for one batch of pastry cream this one time. With that said, I use this thing daily. It's stove top performance is in fact very tippy, but if you learn to think of it as a heat proof bowl with a handle, this thing is great. For grilled cheese I heat my lodge cast iron skillet up and while its heating I set this thing right in the skillet with a little butter to gently melt with just a bit of canola, lighter than butter and brushable, making the task of easy and even spreading possible without hydrogenated spreads. I use it as a mixing bowl for little things like eggs, that little spout is a godsend for tempering. Sometimes I even use it as just a bowl when I'm chopping veggies. Still in college and on a budget? I have two words for you: Ramen. Noodles. Half way up is two cups, i.e. One batch. The weight of the water will hold the bowl down and stainless steel can come back from the accidental burnt water incident, unlike the tattered non-stick you got from the second-hand store (go ahead and deny it, we all have either done it, or come close. Just sayin') Want a good saucier? Try the all-clad. The all-clad saucier is literally my favorite cooking utensil of all time. I use that and this, side by side, all the time, and I love them both. Think outside the box, buy this, and get cooking. I've put this pan through hell, and it's just fine after a year with it being used almost daily.

Poor Quality
I purchased this July 12. It is August 21.I use it to boil water for tea and I have made oatmeal a handful of times in this pan in the month that I’ve owned it. The pots stainless steel layer is wearing away and and has black speckles, which I’m assuming is exposed aluminum. The pan is not dirty. I take very good care of my equipment and I own other Cuisinart pans that did not do this and have last very long. I tried to upload a picture, but for some reason every time I try to upload the picture the app pushes me off and I have to start over. Otherwise I’d post a picture of it. I use wooden utensils so these are not scratches. This is just simply the pan being cheap. I don’t even think it’s a real Cuisinart pot because I own other cuisineart pans and never problem like this. I do not recommend do not waste your money. I also rarely ever write a review, but since my exchange window has lapsed, I’m writing a review.

DOES NOT TIP OVER
I bought and tested this pan along side of the Cuisinart 719-16 Chef's Classic Stainless 1-1/2-Quart Saucepan with Cover. I like the cover offered by the 1.5 quart pan, but I needed something with the small footprint that this one offers. I cook with a flat stovetop, but had a gas stove prior to this electric range. I was a bit worried about "tipping over" and did not have a problem on a flat electric range. I can see that it would tip over on a gas range, and will not dispute that fact. I've had that problem with pans that have a larger base than this one has. Also, if you put a spoon into the pan with the spoon oriented the same direction as the handle it is unstable and COULD tip over, but in my experiment did not. Answer: Put the spoon handle opposite the pan handle. No problem. What I also like about this is that there is a shallow angled pan which is perfect for a small amount of gravy or enchilada sauce. This is not good for Hollandaise. A double boiler is better for that. For the money, this is a clear winner.
