These towels absorb water quickly and dry quickly. They are not fluffy or heavy/thick. But rather close woven and textured -- hence the name waffle. Expensive; yes. But they are durable and hold up to multiple washings with no special treatment. Ours are white and we wash them with other white clothes with bleach in the water and dry them in the dryer.

I like these towels much better than the heavy, fluffy, terry bath towels which are so popular. These towels take up less space, dry more quickly, are made of natural fibers, and can easily dry by hanging on a rack if you prefer. I want to use them all the time now.

If you want an absorbent and lightweight towel, you will probably be happy with this. I like that it doesn’t take up much room in the cabinet because it folds small I think I’m liking it better after each wash. It gets softer.

Personally, I love the function of this towel. It is thin, Cotton, and has the waffle texture on it to dry your skin fast and it will dry fast. I like the fact that it’s rough and I feel like my skin is being exfoliated. It would be perfect for someone with short term rentals because you can wash a lot of these towels at the same time and they dry quickly. They also stack up in small spaces. All that’s sad, the things some people might not like are the things that I like. It is not fluffy and it does not hang on your racks well. It is not a display towel, in my opinion. Some may find it too abrasive when drying their body. It reminds me of a cotton dish towel that’s thin with waffle weave. If you’d like that, he will probably love this ! Bottom line is I like it because it dries my body fast and at least no residue behind. It is very efficient, just not pretty.

These towels wash up really well. They are the perfect size.

I had read about the advantages (and the hype) about waffle weave towels, so I thought I'd try them, and these seemed like a good bet. I bought both bath and hand towels. Well, Nope. 1) It was the absorbency factor that prompted me to try these, after I bought (and returned) two sets of standard (though organic) cotton terry towels because even after multiple washes with vinegar, they almost repelled the water rather than absorbed. So, these do absorb well, but no better than my old terrycloth towels, of which all the fluff has worn. 2) They are poorly made, flimsy. I washed and dried according to instructions. They did shrink, but I expected that, not a problem. Even with shrinkage, the hand towels were still way too big. But what's worse is that they came out misshapen and with a few threads hanging loose. I am not confident of their durability. And they look ugly because of that. (Well, not just because of that....) 3) They are rough, and for those who like the exfoliating effect, fine. I don't. 4) They do dry fast, that's good. However, my towel rack is directly over the heating grate in my bathroom, so all towels dry fast in heating season. So this was not the main selling point for me (absorbency was), though clearly for others it is one. 5) For all that, they are way overpriced, especially the bath towels. So while acknowledging some of my concerns are not shared by all or even most commenters, these were a great disappointment and I cannot recommend them at all. I returned them all today.

These very lightweight towels are perfect for people with arthritis. My husband can’t use regular towels because they are too thick and heavy. These are thin and lightweight yet very absorbent. A little stiff at first but they get softer with each washing.

Nice but much thinner than expected.

Bought these because I often shower twice a day (morning then after workout later) and regular towels got smelly quick. These dry quickly and do not smell even after many uses. The fabric is a bit rough compared to fluffy towels, as one would expect, but you get used to it and I don't mind it.
