Barilla Pasta, Rotini, 16 Ounce

I really like the spiral macaroni and I have seen it called Rotelli, Rotini, and Fusilli. It tastes like spaghetti but it feels a bit more satisfying in the mouth, like you are eating something with texture. This brand is often on the lower end price-wise, but not the cheap bargain brand price. It seems "about right" for what you should pay for "pasta from a box" and the quality is always consistent no matter what shape the pasta comes in. I am no connoisseur (food snob) but this is "all American" Italian pasta, and here in the U.S. that is what we want. I have been buying this and other brands for decades and this brand has never been anything but great. When fully cooked it has a creamy texture (not anything gritty or granular, which some people who enjoy "fresh pasta" may be looking for). It really comes down to the sauce. Therefore this is an excellent base for your sauce. cooking time is standard but this kind of pasta (Rotelli, Rotini, or Fusilli) is more forgiving than spaghetti as far as timing it "just right" and even holds up well as leftovers. Recommended for sauces and salads.

I use these for my sons lunch box, add a little parmesan and olive oil in a stainless steel lunch box and off he goes! They dont get soggy but taste great. There are a good amount for a good price. We are repeat buyers!

Great price for very good quality pasta. Easy to prepare to perfection every time. Sized perfect for both individuals and family uses. Only wish the packaging was easier to close when not using the whole package. Repurchase often and will continue long into the future. Absolutely love this brand and cost per package.

Awesome pasta it cost a little bit more than a generic rotini cost I am a big user of generic products but this one of course I know that it's always been a good quality brand and it tastes like any other pasta

Rotini is Rotini, but Barilla does make pretty good Rotini.
