High Mileage 4 6 8 Compression Repair

I started noticing some rough idle and blowby so I change the plugs and wires and still had some issues. Took it to a shop and they did a compression test and found cylinder 5 was at half the pressure. They recommend an engine replacement. I searched and found this additive Rislone. I skeptically added just half the bottle at first. The engine sounded more silent and less rough than before. I then added the 2nd half now knowing it wouldn’t hurt the engine. So far I’ve driven about 500 miles. I noticed the car sounds and feels a lot better. I don’t have any blowby and gas mpg looks about right. It’s possible the solution freed up some gunk on the pistons rings or idk but I think it works. I would recommend you try it before condemning an engine and getting a new one. The solution is think like honey so it kinda worried me at first but it turned out fine. It probably cleaned up all the engine parts.

Made a significant improvement in how my car runs. Will have to use it when I do an oil change. Works better with conventional oil than synthetic.

This did seem to quiet my engine down a little

My crankcase had serious blowby. Oil coming out the dipstick and the ccv lines. The engine was knocking also. After 3 bottles of this stuff it's back to running normal.

I have a 1989 boat. The engine is the Mercruiser 4-cylinder Alpha One. The engines were actually made by General Motors. They were used in Chevys, and they adapted them for marine use by putting their own intake manifolds and exhaust manifolds on them. I would note that marine engines have a hard life. They are frequently run wide open at 4,000 RPMs for long periods of time, causing more wear than the same engine in a car would experience. So, my engine was 34 years old and very tired. Starting was unreliable. It would crank and crank until it would catch, and then I had to keep the rpms at about 3,000 for a while or it would die. You could tell one cylinder was not firing- maybe two because of the lumpy running and engine shaking. Idling was out of the question for at least 5 minutes. If other people were at the boat ramp I felt embarrassed because of all the blue smoke my boat made. I decided to add one container of this product to my oil to see what would happen. The first four times I started the engine, there was no change. About the fifth time, I noticed it was running more smoothly. Then, after about a month, I accidentally started the engine without giving it any throttle- I just turned the key. It started right away (miracle #1) AND idled smoothly at 700RPM (miracle #2). I could not believe it! I turned it off and started it again, and the same thing happened. Since then, it has done this every time. No blue smoke, no engine shaking, engine starts immediately and idles smoothly. That's my story. I don't know what they put into this product, but whatever it is it actually works. It restored my balky, high-mileage engine so it now starts and purrs like a baby. I would highly recommend this product, and that's an understatement.

Bought a can for my okd Subaru Forester when it developed compression issues. Although it didn't cure the issue, it did help noticeably. I couldn't have aAdked any more of it for the price.

2001 B4000 was stalling and felt bogged down. did new plugs wires, and all around tune up and it didnt feel any different. so i did an oil changed and added this and drove 200 miles. it feels like it did it did when i bought it in 2016 so yes it works!

i ordered the product first time it was delivered, and it was great. but when i place an order for second time i didn't receive it, but thanks to the Amazon customer care that step into the issue and the seller refunded me back my money, despite all that i recommend the seller and the product and hopefully i will reorder the product again if need be

Purchased this in desperation as my motorbike had lost compression in one of its cylinders so it was this stuff or bike sold as spares and repairs . Used 3/4 of the bottle and the bike is running like new..... can't fault it!!!!
