I used these pads many years ago when I first trained muay thai, so when I saw them online I had to buy them because they were excellent, I started training 6 or 7 years ago and I remember the quality of these pads being a 10 out of 10 I am glad to see that ovet time it has remain the same, actually they might even be better, they feel better, the design is amazing and they are super resistant, the grip is amazing, they fit perfectly and you can just see the quality of their stitching.

Awesome Thai Pads! Took me some time to write a review because I wanted to give this some time before I give my opinion to others. I Used these constantly and it's starting to show signs of wear (purchased 1 year ago) but all the seams and leather is still in tact. The abuse from kicking, knees, elbows and punches has shown how good these pads are and how long they can last. The padding is still nice and thick has a small indentation from the hard kicks. My Muay Thai training is intense so these extra thick thai pads are amazing the price is high, but worth it. Don't get cheap thai pads because you will be switching them out within a years time if your consistently training. I've done it several times already so get a good brand thai pad if you want good build quality.Twins, Fairtex, and Yokkao are some of the top Muay Thai brands.

I am a personal trainer that teaches contact kickboxing to my clients. I started initially with a pair of everlast mma pads, my clients quickly became comfortable punching and kicking, those were quickly torn apart and making me take the brunt of the forces dealt. I bit the bullet and purchased the fairtex, and they are fantastic! They took a while to break in, dealt numerous bruises, but once they did neither my clients nor I had any complaints. They absorbed so much of the force that my joints aren't aching after each session, but allowing enough give and sensitivity to know if they hit correctly. The pads are pretty heavy in comparison to the popular brands out there, they took me a while to get used to. But the leather bindings offer so much control, that I can be more percise with pad placement.

Not much to say about them...other than the undeniable fact that this model sets the standard for kick pads. Even Fairtex's newest model isn't up to par. These pads have heft. They gotta be made with solid padding 'cause I don't feel shins on my forearms. Don't get me wrong, I feel the momentum transmitted during impact, but rarely have I ever felt the impression of tibia on ulna and radius. Kicks go here to die. I say rarely because my old pair is going on 4 years old and have developed a crease in the middle, and with the right kicker, the pads will fold. But that's to be expected after thousands of kicks over the years. With other pads that are lighter and softer, I've felt shins on day one. These pads aren't indestructible, just extremely durable. If you want indestructible, then kick a bollard.

I bought these pads after my gym closed due to the COVID pandemic so I can continue to train. I was hesitant due to the price and sought out cheaper options, but I am a big believer in buy once, cry once, and jumped the gun. I have no regrets. The padding feels great, even to someone who just started training. You can really feel the quality in the leather. The straps are wide enough and really secure the forearms. After multiple rounds in the past 2 months they've held up well. There's a reason why Fairtex is regarded as one of the best in Muay Thai equipment and these pads are a testament to that. TLDR: Incredible quality, buy them, worth the investment.

It's been years since I last purchased a new set of kick pads. My old Fairtex pads lasted 10 years of really heavy use and hard training! They are still usable but I figured it's time for a refresh (straps getting uncomfortable from wear but the pads themselves are still great), and I look to the best, which is Fairtex. What can I say, these are amazing pads in every way! They are lighter than traditional pads, but are able to absorb hard kicks just the same! In terms of quality, what can I say, these are Fairtex and having a new pair of pads after such a long time I am very happy that Fairtex had maintained their top-notch quality. The attention to detail is clear the moment you put them in your hands. The combination of soft and hard leather in the right places, the perfect cuts, and tight stitching is better than my Italian sofa! These are hand crafted in Thailand and it shows! Bottom line is these are more expensive than most other brands of pads, but it's like buying a Toyota versus a Kia. These are the ABSOLUTE BEST kick pads money can buy and will last you years! They are worth every penny!
