Works great!
I bought this to use with my Sena 10S and first gen Sena 10C from 2015. The device works great on both headsets. It pairs easy and with a little practice you can go from Bluetooth the Mesh in seconds. There is a specific app made just for this device but it has been so easy to use I have not needed it. Looking back I wish I had bought a Mesh ready headset instead of my 10S, but this device is a easy fix to this problem. It can be used with all of my head sets and was priced right at $129 at the time I purchased the unit.

Allows me to join Sena open mesh
Well, the product works as described. It attaches easily to my bike and then connects to a Sena mesh (other riders) without much effort. The range seems to be good, at least for local roads with my typical group.Of course, I’m still pissed off that I needed this device to use a new $300+ comm unit (SLR-2). AND, why the hell doesn’t someone make one of these to allow me to join a Sena and Cardo mesh at the same time, or at least create a bridge of some type.

works as it should
this works perfectly with older sena headsets to make them mesh capable. I have been using mine with a Sena 10R for months now and it has worked flawlessly. Only flaw, if you can call it thatis, you can only select 1 channel via the pc app, not phone app support to adapt on a ride to a different channel. i have not foujnd this to be bothersome, but if you ride with a lot of folks in areas where sometimes you have to change channels, then this leaves you out of the group. Again, i have never had that problem, but be aware.I would recommend as a great and cheap way to convert your existing headset into a mesh unit. saved me from having to replace several headsets and just use this in its place.

Poorly designed
The hardware appears to be OK. The software, however, is horrible. The mobile app, that you really need, is useless. You need to reconnect it every time. It won't let me change channels. Needless to day, it is plain dangerous to deal with these issues while riding the bike. I wish I went with Cardo to start with, but all my buddies are on Sena mesh, so I have no choice, other than to use this junk with my Schuberth built-in communicator, that doesn't have mesh.Update: after a few months of struggle, I'm throwing this thing to trash. It is unusable.

Works great with other R1 Evo riders that use mesh
I have the standard R1 helmet, and I wanted to join my team that uses the R1 Evo with mesh to communicate. At first, I ordered a new R1 EVO helmet, which was very difficult to find as it was out of stock for a very long time. Once I got the helmet, I had to return it as I noticed that I got the standard R1 helmet instead of the R1 Evo. Since I couldn't find the R1 EVO anywhere, I ordered this thing to pair with my existing R1 helmet. This thing works great! It was super easy to connect with the helmet, and now every time I got to intercom mode, my helmet connects with my team's mesh. My team says that they notice another advantage - they can hear me from a longer range than they would with the R1 EVO.The longest ride I used it for was 4 hours ride, and I didn't have any issues with the battery. My only complaint would be about Sena not being able to play music while in mesh intercom mode.

Horribly frustrating
I have a GT Air 2, my boyfriend got the new Spider so I got this so we could still talk. Both are Sena and the mesh still only works about 1/4-1/3 of the time. It’s incredibly frustrating, the app doesn’t show any device on my phone so there’s no way to control or troubleshoot (firmware is up to date) and his app just crashes any time you press a button. When we do connect we can’t use music or the mics won’t pick up your voice.Nothing more infuriating than being on a ride and suddenly the mesh is no longer even synched to my helmet for no reason at all.Sena has almost no content out there on what to do if their steps don’t work - and they don’t.

Not perfect
This Sena product is like any other Sena product, it works but has flaws. As long as you wish to mesh on mesh channel one, you're ok. The app on iPhone is worthless and will not allow you to change channels or even interface with the +Mesh. The app is pure crap. For some reason, this product drains a Sena 20S's battery faster than before. Unsure why. The unit's battery doesn't drain as fast as the 20S. The total life of the 20S is about 5 hours using the +Mesh. 8 to 10 hours with an ordinary blue tooth intercom. The +Mesh itself seems to have an 8-hour battery life.
