Good packing and nice tree
My first impression is great. It was packaged well. no any damage avocado tree was little bit taller then I expected and did not have many leaves. I think that is normal. I keep it indoor for now but will take it to patio a week later. If it survive on winter with a fair growth i will be back and share the images. So far so good....It has been almost 10 months now. I kept it indoor and plant did good. I made a mistake and watered too much. After taking care it, leaves and stems got bigger.Did not see flowers yet. I did not take it out and tree did not see direct sun so definetely that limits its growth....now it has been another 6 months and finally i sew it flowering. Main stem is tbicker and new branches are so healty. It did not became taller but this is ok for me. I keep it indoor so i dont want too tall.

Buying Trees for planting via Amazon
I give this a try. Ordering Cold Hardy Avocado trees through Amazon. The trees arrived in great condition. I planted them and they are doing great. A good product and simple process. I plan to order some added specimens.

Size accurate but in poor condition
Because an Avocado tree is a little pricey, I prepared well for the planting. I researched everything it needed to give it its best shot at thriving. It arrived with leaves mostly brown but the roots looked moist, so I assumed it was a little shock from shipping. Within a week the leaves were completely brown. I continued to take care of the tree in hopes it would still come back but the limbs and trunk eventually became brittle and lifeless. Disappointed that it didn’t work out.

Quality
It was big and full when it arrived but the leaves fell off when the season changed. I brought it inside and used a small grow light and am happy to say that it's thriving! Covered in new growth, not just up , it's filling out completely.

So far, so good - updated review 4/2021
Update 4/2021: I actually have baby avocados this season! It took a few years, but I’ve got them! As a side note, I have found these trees have gained popularity and local nurseries started carrying them.Original review:Was a bit skeptical when it arrived as 3-4 inches had broken off the top. Although I bought the large, and it seemed as tall as advertised, the trunk was a bit more spindly than I anticipated. Tree was essentially in good condition. It only dropped a few leaves post-arrival. It took a me a few weeks to get it in the ground, but the good news is it is actually doing well! Even has a bit of new growth about two weeks after planting.I’m in Nor Cal area and there are a few of these Mexicola Grande trees in the area thriving, so I am hopeful. After a week or two, I noticed that the leaves were yellowing a bit - this was a sign it needed Nitrogen... I did a fruit fuel treatment that had nitrogen and it cleared the issue right up. Also necessary was a good draining soil (lots of hard clay in my area), so in the hole I supplemented with a palm/cactus soil mix. Don’t over water these trees, as they are susceptible to root rot. In the winter (can get down to 29F), I plan on stringing Xmas lights around trunk to keep it warm. I also painted the trunk with a 50/50 latex to water whitewash to protect it against sunburn.I write all this in hope of helping others who are trying to give these trees a try! I’ve read that they do need this extra care, so I thought I would share what I’ve learned since mine seems to be really quite happy... since it is pretty spindly, I honestly won’t expect fruit for at least a few years even though I bought the largest one they sell.Good luck everybody!

Fungal infection but beautiful tree
I ordered a 4-5 ft tree and received a healthy, beautiful 5.5” ft avocado tree with nice branching. It was stressed from transit and I expect it to recuperate beautifully. I was ecstatic about this tree until I noticed that there are fungal spores on the leaves, and that it arrived already combatting an infection. I will be treating it with a copper based fungicide, but due to the nature of this disease it should be presumed that any other avocado trees in this greenhouse may also be infected. It is a common and treatable condition but can be persistent if you’re not on top of treating your plants. Be aware that you may have to fight this fungal infection off if you buy this plant, but that the growers do produce beautiful trees.

Not what I expected
I spent a lot of time and effort preparing the planting site for the Three Gallon Avocado Tree. Due to clay soil conditions near my home, I deliberately prepared the hole at least four times larger and twice as deep as the planting instructions for the tree. I purchased garden soil and peat moss for the planting. The instructions say to separate the root ball before planting. However, the 3 gallon plastic container had a small root ball compared to the pot. The rest of the container was filled with loose potting soil. I tried calling the seller “Brighter Blooms” many times over a two day period to speak with their “Plant Specialists”, at all times of the day. All you get is a message that “this call may be recorded “ and then it hangs up after 5 minutes. The avocado tree that consists of a 3 1/2 foot, 1/2” diameter stick with barely any roots. The seller contacted me and has resolved the issue to my satisfaction. I am happy they took the initiative to make thing right!
