These 16GB expansions work great and made a huge improvement in my older windows 7 laptop. I had 6GB of memory in my laptop and it couldn't handle many open tabs in my browser and it would slow down to a crawl. I put these 2 chips in, checked to see that it was registering the full 16GB on my laptop and then opened 20+ tabs in my browser while playing video, and having other programs open and it didn't even slow down. It's amazing the performance difference this made and the time it's saving me, my laptop has new life now.

Great memory for the money, installation was easy and memory was recognized on the first boot.

Bought for an old Chromebox CN60 I use as a gateway machine. While 16GB is a bit over the manufacturer stated capacity for the CB these are working without issues and provide enough memory elbow room to keep these older systems usable. I'll likely pick up another set as I have a few more systems which can make use of a memory bump at this price point. 16GB is about the best capacity/price proposition for DDR3L SODIMM as at 32GB the cost is about 8x greater.

Is working so let's see till now all working simple installing process I don't know if I had to leave the sticker on but I took it off just in case if it build up some heat but till now all working good Lenovo t470. Strait plug and play and de sistem immediately did the memory detection, perfect fit.

It arrived, it fit in the slot, it works. 4 stars, rather than 5, for two reasons: (1) same memory available slightly cheaper if you catch it on sale BUT free shipping from Amazon balances that (2) memory seldom fails if it works the first time, but you never know. If I'd reviewed this in five years and it was still working...it'd get 5 stars.

I'm usually a bit skeptical about product descriptions and reviews which claim a technology piece is plug and play. I'm about as far from tech-competent as can be and used to dealing with that one extra little step everyone else takes for granted, thinking anyone but an idiot would know that step without saying. Well, I'm that idiot. I'm the one who scours the 'Tuube looking for answers which are obvious to everyone else. So I was pretty surprised when I dumped in a pair of these memory doodads and nothing bad happened. As for performance, it's not super easy to tell what I gained (went from 12MB to 16MB). If I were a gamer, perhaps I could tell what this $14 bought me. I figured it was worth a try to slightly improve the performance of a 10 year old PC. Mission accomplished, I think. I give 5 stars solely because I didn't have to seek help after the install.
