Used as backer rod for filling cracks in sidewalk
I needed something to use as a backer rod for large cracks in my sidewalk. I had watched YouTube videos where this product was used and also pool noodles, but I didn't want to have to cut up product to stuff into cracks before adding chalk to the cracks to fill and seal them, so I got this stuff in various sizes. This product worked perfectly for my project and was easy to use. You can twist, bend and stuff it into cracks with ease and it's flexible to it moves with heat expansion and cold contraction. I cleaned the cracks in the sidewalk, added this backer rod by pressing it into place with the edge of a screwdriver, and then added self-leveling chalk to the crack. I added sand on top of that, which helped things blend better than if I'd just filled them and left the chalk exposed. The results were great and this product worked as expected. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others or use it again myself.

Nice to fill in large gaps and save sealant
Works as it's supposed to. Used to fill in a number of gaps in crawl space and basement areas and it did the job. Was able to manipulate to apply to a many different spaces. Worked as expected.

Lightweight, Slightly flexible, Translucent, Made in Canada
It is lighter in weight than expected. That is not a problem, just unexpected. It is not flexible like rubber would be, but it is flexible enough to use as intended as a caulk backer or a weather seal. I used it as a seal. When direct sunlight hits it, you can see light through it (i.e. translucent). The package says it is Made in Canada.

Fixed a sliding glass door gap and stopped the draft.
We had a drafty seal on our sliding patio glass door because of an earthquake-caused misalignment.Fortunately, the glass did not break, but the panel alignment shifted enough so that It is not possible to adjust the doors far enough to thoroughly seal the gap, so we use this flexible compressible caulk saver to do so.In addition to being affordable ($2 on sale), the caulk saver is removable and reusable. We don't use ANY caulk in this application -- just to stuff and seal the small door gap.It takes less than a minute to insert the foam strip and it's compressible so that it will fit into the gap and expand enough to be an effective seal.We can quickly remove the strip when we want to open the door, and seal it back up in less than a minute. While this isn't a perfect and permanent fix, it's cheap, fast and much less expensive than installing a new door system.I've attached my image -- it's not necessary to leave such a large overhang, but we do so to make it easier to remove and replace the foam strip.

Best filler
This wad easy to use, and did a great job. I stuffed the the Crack between my porch and the house wall. Then I caulked it with self leveling caulk. The job turned out great.

Did the job
There is no adhesive. I tried a hot glue gun at first. But, not good. Melty melt. Cut a chunk off Wood glue did the trick to keep it in the cracky crack. Now proudly serving its purpose in life.

Truck Weather Seal fix
I used this for a hack I found on Youtube. I have a 2005 Chevy truck and the air noise was becoming overbearing while highway driving. I literally cut my weather seal on my front doors open and used a metal coat hanger, duct tape to attach this to the coat hanger, a little silicon lube to help with friction and voila.I have dang near air tight front doors, the noise difference is AMAZING. Today there are 70kmph gusts and while on the highway I had practically no air whooshing through the door seal. Basically a factory seal again.2 of these will do the front doors, i had to do it in 1 and 2 foot increments. There were a a lot of cuts which I sealed with Black RTV silicon.

Works great when caulking those big gaps.
This one was a bit thinner than I thought it was going to be, so I couldn’t use it for the really big gaps I have, but it did help with the not so big gaps. That was my fault I guess for not knowing the proper measurement I needed. I do find that this is a bit expensive for what it is but I’m glad I had it. $12. Cheaper than wasting caulking in big gaps.

used for ear posting
this size is good for when pup is young, but would not use it after 5/6 months old since it is quite thin. a bigger diameter would be better for shaping larger ears. no problems with this product though, it's soft and pliable and easy to shape. no odours or allergic reactions.
