Guys, i have 80 pin scsi hdd, my adaptec is 68pin, is this the right thing to buy to convert my 80 to 68? do i need to terminate the cable?

You can get a cable with a terminator on it. I would recommend a terminator.

No. This only takes the newer SCSI interface (80 pin) and allows you to connect to an older style SCSI interface (50 pin). It does not convert SCSI to IDE or SATA.

Does this need a separate molex power supply connector plugged into it to operate?
