This was the wrong bar for my model chainsaw.

Big upgrade for the MS 180 saw.
I purchased a stihl MS 180 saw, and the first thing I replaced was the stock bar and chain that came with that. What a difference this made. It Cuts 10 times better now.

Not a fit for Stihl MS 170
The saw chain was very robust. Much thicker and aggressive than the low profile, .043 chains. But it did not fit my Stihl MS 170. The 170 needs a max 55 drive links. The 56 of this chain was too long. With tensioner maxed out, the chain was still loose.
