Will tsa let me bring this in my carry-on or will i need to check it?

I'm an airline pilot. I've carried a different, but similar, tactical pen (as well as a SureFire tactical flashlight) with me for almost a decade now with no issues at TSA or any international location. In my experience, a bluetooth travel speaker garners far more attention from airport security than one of these. I've never even been asked to remove either from my bag for inspection. Was once searched and shaken down for a bribe on the street by corrupt cops in Africa and they didn't take it from me.
