This is a beautifully made traditional Chinese outfit. However, my hips and thighs were disproportionate to the measurements. I have 45in hips and Waist and bust mid 30s. So, I bought size 14 with the 46in hips and had the bust and waist altered to my measurements.I recommend sizing according to the biggest part of your body. And if you fall in between sizes, I recommend sizing up.Lastly, it fit very nicely and received many compliments.

BEAUTIFUL! Fits like a glove! Ladies, be sure to have some form of spandex short for with this because the slit can be a bit high. I just got this and I am IN LOVE! I will definitely be ordering more! The colour is a perfect deep burgandy as described. ❤️😍❤️Update: I would recommend reinforcing the stitching upon receipt as the second time I wore this the seam came undone. Still five stars because the fabric is great quality and the design is stitched, but do not wear without reinforcing! :)

I want to keep it but too long and extra materials on my back. I guess will try custom made from China for my qipao

this dress is amazing. I am technically a six 6/8 in womens. 32D 29in pants. I ordered an xxl. it's definitely loose around the waist and bust but is snug around the hips getting it on and off. it's perfect for what I needed it for which is the Chinese New Year celebration at the Montessori primary school I teach at. it's loose enough for me to have full range of motion and looks amazing. I will post photos when I get a chance. but I couldn't be more pleased.

I really loved this dress. The silk is perfect and the colors are bursting with so much life and the design was just perfection! However the dress is way too long. I did not want it hemmed by a tailor since I do not want to ruin the beautiful motif of the dress. So I am returning this but getting the same size but a shorter one. I am starting to love all chinese clothes from here on because of this purchase!

I order a size larger than what I normally wear, I like my dress is a little loose and because I am large chested I normally wear a 14 I order a 16 and it fits perfectly. I gave this product a five star because of the quality of material and sewing I bought four of these dresses now and plan to buy a few more thank you for such a wonderful product

Ordered a size 6 (normally wear a small/ 4-5) to wear as my birthday dress. First off, it was too small. Secondly it wasn't even close to the burgundy in the picture it was 100% red, and thirdly the zipper was broken. Very disappointed. The only good thing was that it shipped in a decent time.

The dress is beautiful, but definitely better suited to straight up-and-down shapes. I am very hour-glassy with slightly wider hips. I ordered a 12 and it was quite large (probably needed 2-3 sizes smaller) on top and tight on the bottom. For reference my measurements are 36 Bust 31 Waist 41 Hips. Also, this dress is not a purple tone as it appears in the photo, but definitely more the "burgundy" shade as it is labeled. Think wine red. Overall, it was lovely and well-made. The slits do go quite high up, so be prepared for that.
