Rugged Blue Holster Case for Google Pixel 3a XL - Unicorn Beetle Pro

So I've had Otterbox before and more recently I wanted to get Urban Armor Gear. I really like the indestructible nature of the protection for tablets and phones. I haven't dropped phones much but in any case I've had to replace cases (with phones that could have the outer OEM case replaced/cheap android phones). I love the new Pixel 3XL, I bought two, one the day that they announced it from the Google Store and a 2nd for my wife from Best Buy (see my review). The one downside of the Pixel it's a plastic, non-replaceable case so I immediately searched for a "rugged" or "military" case. I originally wanted Otterbox or UAG but the cost of $40 or $50 was not what I wanted to pay. Also the Google Pixel 3a cases are snap on and I've had bad experiences with phone cases that do not fully encase the phone and actually end up damaging the phone (dust/sand getting in between phone and case and scratching phone). I had bought Supcase for my new 5th and 6th generation iPads and loved them. Very nice quality, easy to install. Includes protection built-in for the screen. I haven't dropped them but I can tell they are really very protective, especially the corners which I've had the most issues in the past with chipped phone plastic. So I ordered these as soon as I saw them and am very pleased. Same high quality that I had on the tablet cases. Easy to install. Make sure you clean the screen of any piece of dirt, etc. using a high quality screen cleaner cloth, otherwise you'll trap the dirt when you install. Two side benefits, is I used a different color to be able to tell my wife's iPad and Pixel 3a XL from mine. The other is the phone case and the iPad case are matchy - exactly the same color/design. Did I mention that they are 1/2 the price of any other similar types of cases and I got 2 from the price of 1.

I live in the real world where I actually drop my phone every now and then. This is a very durable case and has protected my phone quite well so far. The case is a little bulky but the best cases that actually work usually are. I am not so vain that it bothers me. The screen protector has not hindered the touch screen at all. I would absolutely recommend this case.

Blows OtterBox out of the water. Integrated screen protector, sealed connector ports, and great bump protection. Just an overall great phone case. This ruggedized my phone.

As cases go, the Unicorn Beetle Pro is decent, but it has one glaring (literally) flaw. I prefer holster cases for my phone, as I usually carry it on my belt, and I like the added protection of the hard plastic shell covering the screen when it's in the holster. This case seems like it would protect the phone from a moderate drop, although I haven't tested that - I haven't dropped a phone in many years, and I don't intend to try it now... The touch screen and all the sensors work perfectly with the case, and the case does not interfere with the microphone or speaker. The headphone jack and charging ports have protective covers, so the case won't work with a dock unless you cut off the charging port cover. The volume and power buttons are still responsive, as is the squeeze-to-activate Google Assistant. The flaw I mentioned is the built-in screen protector. It's a plastic film that protects the screen from scratches. It won't do much for impact protection, but I knew that going in. The problem with it is the glare from is distracting, and it's almost never clean. It is a magnet for fingerprints and smudges on the outside, and somehow the inside gets smudged and dirty too. I ended up removing the built-in screen protector and installing a tempered-glass protector on the phone. No more smudges and fingerprints, and better impact protection.

This is, by far, the BEST phone case I've ever owned! I have a bad habit of dropping my devices, "1 too many times" to the point of unrepair. With the beveled edges, I know this case has saved me hundreds of $$, in the last 10 months alone! The only thing I don't like is: The Screen cover has gotten a bit scratched. But, I guess, it's not all that bad considering how hard I am on devices! *Note to self: See if I can get these for the 3 other phone models our Fam has & if I can get a new screen cover!

This is a well designed, heavy duty protection case. All access areas for dust and other intrusions are covered, the charging port has a flip up rubber cover, buttons have rubber buttons on top of them unlike some other cases that simply cut out holes, and the screen protector is integral to the case.. Looks perfect for construction or excavation workers, outdoors type, etc. For that reason, I give it five stars for doing what it's supposed to do. However, I'm a retired office worker who spends most of his time on a computer so it's a bit bulky and heavy for me. I may look for something less protective but more convenient. It comes in three parts: The hard body protector, an screen cover that the body protector fits over but doesn't interfere with screen operations, and a belt clip with a phone quick-release lever that can be used or not attached.

I wasn't sure how I would feel about this case. I was a huge fan of the Pelican phone case. But this has been better than expected. It is very sturdy and also thinner than I was expecting. It works great with the side squeeze for Google Assistant. Plus it's fits great in my pocket and purse without being to big and clunky.

This fits perfectly. One thing to be aware of is that it adds a little bulk, and you lose the squeeze feature for the Google Assistant. But you can just hold the home button at the bottom of the screen for her so it's no big loss in my books. But that trade off is worth it. The case actually looks cool. And I feel like I could literally throw my phone at a wall. Not that I recommend it. My phone still looks new. No issues with heating. The screen protector built in works aces. If you're okay with a little heft and you drop your phones a lot, buy this case.

大満足です！ただ、やっぱりでかいｗポケットとかポーチに入りにくいのが難点ですね(デカいの買ったんだからあたりまえだろｗ)

Macht das Telefon nochmal größer, aber mir gefällt es. Sehr robust und klappen an wichtigen Anschlüssen lassen keinen Staub eindringen.

Beim ersten Ablegen, meines Gerätes in die Handtasche meiner Frau, ist die Schutzfolie zerkratz. Um das Gerät seitlich an der Hose zu tragen, fällt auch ins Wasser, da man sich dann nicht mehr setzen kann.
