A practical guide with very little substantiation. It reads like: "this works for me, it will work for you too".

Good concepts, questionable writing
Overall, this is a very good--but brief--introduction to the field of muscle testing.My only criticism is with the quality of the writing. The incorrect grammar that runs consistently through the book makes it sometimes a struggle to understand the author's ideas. Additionally, some of the concepts he explains are visual concepts that might have been more effectively expressed with diagrams and figures. My humble advice, Mr. Hetherington, is that if you are paying an editor to review your manuscripts, perhaps you might consider firing him/her!To be fair to the author, I am an old university professor with a lot of years editing people's writing, and I admit to being something of a stickler for grammatically correct writing that flows smoothly on the page.

Excellent book!
Michael’s subjects are discussed in depth. Each is thoroughly described and gives one an advanced knowledge, enabling you to use muscle testing, your innate awareness and your entire being for living your best possible life. Reading this book has given me yet another blessing. Thank you Michael!

Great book!
I knew about some of this before, but didn't know what it was called. I had a friend where a doctor tossed things in a box laying on her stomach while testing her hand muscles. Now I can do this! I love Michael's books. They don't have fluff, get right to the point and therefore are very easy to go back and review.

The title sums it up well -For health and enlightenmment
What is self-muscle testing and its benefits? As the author states, "being able to test more subtler levels of existence".I am constantly stressed out and losing sleep. I know I need to take better care of myself both physically and mentally. I read this book with an open mind and tried the self muscle testing techniques (which are very well outlined and include pictures) and felt a little more in tune with myself for lack of a better explanation.One would have to have an open mind to appreciate the this book and to benefit from the techniques introduced. Assuming this is the case, it is worth the read. I recommend reading through it twice for a better understanding.
