I bought 12 of them (3 sets) and think I may buy more to get through the holiday's. I love that I can wake up and tell Alexa to turn on Christmas and everything light right up. Same as when I go to bed, I no longer have to go to every outlet and turn the switches on and off. You can not go wrong with these.

Used one of these to control the fan in my bedroom. It is so nice to turn the TV off and then tell Alexa to turn on THE FAN!! White noise from the fan is so sleep inducing. But if you don't need that, then use the smart plug to turn your TV off at a certain time, or upon voice command. Use it to ask Alexa to turn off your lamp......so many conveniences you can add to your life..... And best of all...it works!!!!....oh! And one other thing. A lot of these smart plugs use apps that don't resemble their names. So, like me, you might find one in a drawer and decide to use it for something. You look at the apps on your phone and you have no idea which app it uses, so you have to research it. With Gosund...it uses the Gosund app...so there is no guesswork or research about which app you need for it. I like the simplicity of that......

I am using this with the Google assistant. We live in the north east and in winter, the weather gives us the chill.. bought these to plug in our portable heaters since these are 16 amps. These are- convenient and easy to install- build quality is sturdy and clean- work easily with Google- 16 amp, so high wattage electronics can be plugged into them- do not block the other outlet- work with the SmartLife app. We have about a dozen other plugs of different brands and all have been configured through SmartLife app. This was important to us since we don't want to install multiple apps.- they recently updated the smartLife app and the sync feature now works properly. after i added these smart plugs in the smartlife app, they automatically appeared under the Google Home app.- the manual button is on the front of the device, which is convenient.

I am so excited to receive this item. But after using it, OMG so scared when i smell burnt plastic inside my house been checking everywhere and it’s this thing. Good thing I saw it before I went to bed or else my house will be on fire probably. Not recommended... so disappointed and not worth the risk.

My flat iron doesn't have auto shut off. Half hour from home.. Hmm did I shut it off? No more worries about burning down the house! I can turn off the plug from my phone from smart life app voice short cut.. PEACE OF MIND AT LAST! (house burned down years ago so I worry) Also we run fans at night, if we get cold we can turn them off without having to get up and go across the hall or other rooms. Yay!It only took five minutes to set up the four I purchased. No problems. The shape and size I really like. Not big and clunky. These were the best price as well. Very pleased with this product :)

Plug is made by Gosund, but works with Smart Life app. I like this because I have several other Smart devices that work with the Smart Life app so I can access them all with this one app. These plugs have worked every time I have tried to turn them On or Off via the app or by asking my Google Assistant to do the job. Setup for me was pretty easy. Mostly I like these because they are a higher 16 amp rated outlet. Why limit your wall outlet and by the plugs that have a lower amperage rating when you can utilize their full power rating for about the price. Product seems to be well built. What more can I say - they do what they are suppose to!By the way, I use these to turn On/Off a pair of "Dumb" fans I use in my window to cool down my bedroom. Before these plugs I would be in bed and then realize I am too hot to fall asleep. I would have to get up to turn on the fans... or the fans were On and it was getting cold, so again, I would have to get up to turn Off the fans...Moreover, being these two fans are "Dumb," I have one set to the Low fan speed and the other set to High. This way I can choose which speed (air flow) I want!

If you don't have smart-plugs , and you use Alexa, google home e.t.c these are a must have.It makes life simpler and easier, I no longer have to get out of bed to turn off/on my toddlers lights and it has a timer so when the lights go out they know its time for bed.4 comes in the package other brands are more expensive and they all do the same thing. Its a lot less for the same or better quality.I'm definitely buying more. you can turn on whatever device you plug in no matter where you are as long as you have the app. I love it!
