Hadley-Roma 'Men's' Leather Watch Strap (Model: MSM866LA 180)

I would rate this a 4.5 if I could, but its good enough I will round it up to 5 instead of down to 4. There is small room for improvement in some regards but overall this is a wonderful band and IMO the one of the best 18-mm bands you can buy for less than 20 dollars.Appearance 5/5This watch band stopped me from returning the Seiko 5 I had purchased. I loved the watch face and body but the band seemed way too thin and not particularly good looking. After replacing it with this band the watch really does look quite a bit better.Comfort 4/5I've worn more comfortable watches than this but its not bad at all.Durability 5/5So far seems like quality manufacturing, stitching came flawless and leather seems nice for the price. I will check back in after I've worn it for a while and see how it holds up.

Excellent watch band for the $. I replaced the factory band on a Seiko SNK805 with this, and it really looks great. Pictures added to review. The leather looks to be of good quality, stitching is fine, nylon portion is fine, buckle does what its supposed to do. I'm wearing it a little tight for now to get the leather to wear in faster, though its already pretty soft.The seller I ordered from got it to me within a few days, and included two new band pins. I didn't need them, just used the Seiko pins, so these will go in the tool kit in case of a loss.

I waited to review this band because I had ordered the SE JT6203 7PC Watch Spring Bar Tool and wanted to use it to install the watch band. Since the local jeweler charges 10 bucks to install a watch band, when I ran across that tool while searching for a new watch band, I decided, what the heck, I can now do it with the tool for half the price, at least, for what the jeweler charges, not to mention the gas it takes to drive down there. So, I had to wait because I had the band a couple of days prior to the tool arriving. I would have given the band a 5 star because it is at least as good as the Swiss Army brand, not to mention a heck of a lot less expensive...but...the leather is pretty dry. I took a bottle of Red Wing Boot Oil and with a que-tip, oiled the band and let it soak in overnight. I believe that that simple thing will allow the band to last longer. The oil will make it more supple and protect it from salts in sweat from your wrist. This is my third such band, the two prior being Swiss Army brand. Both of them wore out because they simply gave up from too much bending plus the body salts getting into the leather. Additionally, the green nylon part of the band is brighter and richer looking than the one that Swiss Army used to sell. All-in-all, Hadley-Roma seems to be making a quality watch band. I will buy again if and when I need a new one.

I bought this Hadley-Roma watch band to replace a Swiss Army-brand wristwatch band whose leather had cracked through. Before turning to Amazon.com as a resource for watch bands, I was unable to find locally an acceptable replacement band for this watch in terms of style and fit.The new band appears to be well crafted. Stitching is neat, pieces are assembled properly, and materials appear to be strong. Leather seemed a mite stiff at first, but became more flexible with use.The band does not come with spare springbars, but I was able to re-use the ones that were original to the watch. I happened to have a springbar tool, so installation was straightforward.

Great quality watch band and it looks good too. I ordered this to replace the 18mm metal band on my Seiko watch. The old metal band is uncomfortable and pulls the hairs out of my arm. Ouch! Unfortunately, I haven't figured out how to get the old metal band off. This watch band is exactly what I wanted, and will be great once I get it installed. The only negative is the buckle is silver color and doesn't match my gold colored Seiko watch. But I knew that when I ordered it, so no bid deal.

I went from a classic Nato Strap of similar color to this one. I liked the similar stylings and the added leather for some class of this strap but what set it apart from other straps I have had on this watch is that it is far and beyond the most comfortable strap I have ever owned. It is a perfect size and very light, soft and rugged webbing.
