Must have for post op wounds!
A must have if you’re planning on surgery. Works great for stitches and post stitch wounds. Keeps it nice and dry to allow healing to take place. In general these work better than gauze which gets into the wounds making it harder to heal. They’re comfortable, easy to apply and I’ve never had a problem with any packs.

Great pads at an even better price for 100!
These (Curad brand) are always good products which are carefully made and packaged. In this bulk pack, they are even inexpensive! What else could you ask for in a sterile non-adherent pad. Check the size you need, BUT, you can tape 2 or more together to fit your needs and at this price... that is a no-brainer!

Fantastic-it really doesn't stick!
Had an injury that required daily dressing changes which were painful because the product I was using was stick to my wound. I couldn't stand it so I ordered these to find out if they worked better. Yes, they did work so well!! Loved theses Curad sterile non-adherent pads! It changed the dressing changes from a tearful, painful ordeal to an easy job!

Much better than regular gauze, especially when paired with Aquaphor
I had a large - 3"x4" wide by 1/8" deep - abrasion on my shin which was taking a very long time to heal. I was using hydrogel pads early on, which worked well when the wound was at its worst - but found they were drying out too quickly later on and needed to switch to something that would let the injury breath a little better. I started on these after it had reduced in area by about 50%. They are much better than regular gauze, which is awful for deep injuries, it just rips out all the new tissue when you replace it unless you pack it with petroleum jelly. Even these pads stuck a bit, so I still needed to add a good 1/16" or more of jelly under it - I used Aquaphor, as I've had great success with it in the past - but much, much less so than straight gauze. Over it I used Mueller M-tape - which is a fantastic spongy, breathable padding wrap - secured by Leukotape P. It took maybe ten days or so of using these pads before I could finally let the wound remain uncovered. I didn't like how shiny and plasticy they seemed, but it seemed to breath well enough. I doubt these would absorb much, if any, fluid so if your wound is still weeping you should use ample normal gauze behind this non-adherent one. This did hold the jelly very well, I could really load it up. I went through about a dozen pads on my injury and I'll definitely keep them around in case something like that happens again. So I do recommend them. I might try a different brand next time to see if I can get something even more non-adherent so I don't need to use quite so much jelly, but these were fit for purpose.

Great for Boo-Boos and Gravity Mishaps
I use these all the time, and I get more than my fair share of boo-boos. They’re thin, don’t stick to the wound, and just work. If gravity likes to invert near you like it does me, keep a box around. You’ll thank yourself later.

They work
These cover up the boo boos and do not stick when you go to take them off.

Works great for staples!
This works very well for my 6 inch stapled incision. I started using this the 4th day after surgery. It doesn't stick to the staples and is easy to apply with medical tape. It's a lot better than using multiple smaller sizes to cover a large incision. It absorbs the drainage well also - but I don't have a lot. I just need to change it once a day.

I recently switched to using these Curad Medline sterile non-adhesive pads instead of regular gauze for a wound, and I’m really impressed. The biggest difference is that they don’t stick to the wound like gauze does, which makes changing dressings so much less painful. Despite being non-adhesive, they still absorb well and keep the area clean and protected. Overall, a simple but huge improvement over traditional gauze. Definitely keeping these on hand!

They're perfect for small wounds. Since mine is on my calf, I use these and keep it in place with either a cut off sock or a piece of cut off tights.
