Item arrived in good time as expected. Packaging was adequately placed in a plastic bag and brown envelope. No damage was visible. However, I have noticed inconsistency in the metal between to 2 hollow shafts (see photos) Also rusts can be found covering the nuts and shafts. I would have expected they are properly greased and oiled during at packaging point to maintain rust free storage. No evidence of this. I have also discovered that different designs around the open/close lever on the skewers (see photos). Although there may be no significant drawbacks or benefits that I can deduce from this, I can only conclude that these parts are sourced from different suppliers hence the build quality may be different. At this point, I did consider returning them for a refund as I was not impressed by what I have seen. However, I thought I would give this a go. Having gently sanded off the rust and oiled the entire shafts, I began to put them together. So far I have replaced only the front wheel of my mountain bike. The job was straightforward and the length of the shaft is exactly what I needed. It will be interesting to see how the quality of the product will stand up to the tests in the coming days and weeks. If all goes well, I will move on to the rear wheel. Thanks for reading my humble review!

Thankfully reused my existing cone nut but yes I couldn’t have used the ones that came with this set

Bearing dust overs were all dented and bent and unusable, had to return

The media could not be loaded. So I only bought these for the hollow spindles as i always use the original cones and bearing runners (as they suit the hub perfectly). However whilst they were well packaged the bearing runners were all distorted and in one case, bent. This could be straightened on a flat bench if required, but like i said, use the original runners, i also changed out the skewers for anodised alu
