This is a great lock. Easy to use and now we are confident tire will not be stolen. Thought we needed 2 so that's what we ordered. But just one does the trick.

Great lock for anti theft of spare tire on my boat trailer. I bought a new boat trailer with aluminum mags, and the spare was just bolted on. To prevent theft of the $250 spare I bought this lock. Small perfect fit for multiple applications, and would really consume time and effort to try to get it off; something most thieves don't have. The price point was very reasonable.

for what it is, a "deterrent" I give it 5 stars, this is all it is like most locks, it will not prevent a theft by makes it time consuming to defeat.

I'm giving it 4 stars because of the price vs. value, in that I think I got what I paid for. I don't think that this lock would hold up to any serious attack by a determined thief - probably a hammer attack would destroy it - but it's an inexpensive deterrent for basic theft. If you need something more secure, pay for a more expensive lock, but I'm only protecting an inexpensive spare trailer tire. Mine came with 2 different keys, but at least one of them works.
