Great to power battery devices or charge random things. I have one wired to an automatic trash can so it never needs batteries again!!

Works great, wish you can choose Amps as well. Had a dehumidifyer and it did not work on it. I confirmed that the original adapter was the issue. Good thing is that I had another purpose for this as well.

I bought this adapter because I needed 4.5 volts to charge up an emergency radio. The radio's jack is pin-negative. Most adapters with interchangeable plugs can be inserted in either of two ways to change the plug's polarity. This one cannot. The connector is polarized so it can only be plugged in a way that results in pin-positive. I ended up modifying the cord to switch polarity, but most people cannot do this. Also, this is a switching power supply so it makes a lot of noise in AM and SW radios. For me that was OK because my use was as a battery charger, so the noise is not a problem.

I have a blood pressure monitor that just EATS batteries. It, fortunately, also accepts AC power. However, after just a couple of years, I noticed the wire leading into the jack to the device was breaking and before I could figure out what happened, one side of the dual-wire broke entirely.This, with the multiple plugs available and the multiple settings for output power was just what I needed. Once I was able to see the symbol for the power requirements of the port (TINY printing), I chose this device as a replacement.I wasn't sure which of the two largest ports to use as both seemed to fit. I chose the 2nd largest, fearing the other might be too tight and get stuck in! It worked fine!I'm now able to bypass expensive AAA batteries and can use this elsewhere if needed.The only negative (and that is not worth a decrease in stars) is that the wire is flat 2-part. I feel that if it were round, it would be stronger and last longer.

Quick delivery.Primarily purchased to replace a lost 12v charger for our old, Li-ion JobSmart flashlight - the Anne Bonny of our flashlight fleet. She's been dropped from ladders, crushed by a tractor, epoxied back into frankenlight form and returned to service several times. It has the older style pin jack type connector.Secondary uses will include powering my Dad's 1974 Sperry Remington SSR-8 calculator to avoid the dreaded green death of leaking batteries. it has a blue-green LED display that rapidly flashes out intermediate results while calculating log and trig functions, just to let you know that it's working on it and will get back to you with an answer before Dexter works it out on his K&E Polyphase Duplex Decitrig.Is this item safe for use with Li-ion batteries? The ad copy and documentation don't explicitly state if it is. As I recharged the flashlight (which had stopped lighting months ago) I kept checking the temperature of both the charger and the flashlight until it was fully charged and noticed no temperature rise, so ... fingers crossed.

Wored perfectly. Many connection sizes to choose from and vollt strengths as well.

This converter works exactly as advertised. I selected the correct adaptor, plugged it in and it worked! No more endless battery changes! I may never need all the additional adapter tips but it's nice to know if I do need them, I have them!

The plug and 90-degree adapters on this thing are huge compared to the original power adapter I had gotten this to replace. It was not physically possible to plug the cylinder connector into my device, despite being the correct size cylinder, because its molding was so bulky. The wire side of the connection is also very bulky - even if I had been able to make the connection on the device, the overall size of the plug would completely prevent the device from hanging on the wall like it was designed. For what I needed it for, this device was completely useless.In the attached photo, the original power adapter is on the bottom, and the Belker adapter is on top. You can see the size difference pretty clearly.
