Ematic 8GB MP3 Video Player with FM Tuner/Recorder and 1.5-inch Color Screen, Red

This is by far, one of the worst purchases made I’ve made on Amazon. When I tell you this thing is garbage, I sincerely mean it. If I could give negative stars I would. It won’t turn on, unless plugged in to power source. When plugged it, it’s impossible to transfer any data to it. I have several computers with different operating systems so somehow I can’t chock this one up to operator error. This thing is just garbage. Don’t spend your time or money on it.

This is one sweet little device. 8GB of MP3's when I go to the gym... how can you beat that. It is easy to load, easy to play, easy to keep with you... and for a fraction of what other MP3 players are going for. It does exactly what it says it does, without all the hoopla of "big name" devices. If you want a fully functional device to deliver your music without any fanfare, you can't go wrong with this player....

The volume and music output is excellent. I love the 8GB storage. The inclusion of the radio is nice. I used to have the exact same model, but it was a 2GB. To be honest I liked it better. Part of it is that the pause button is on the side rather than the front. The loading of actual media takes longer. My biggest complaint is that with the 2GB model you could scroll through over 100 songs in less than 30seconds. This model you have to go one by one. It makes it hard to navigate when you have over 100 songs. I realize you could search by artist or album through the folder selection but I personally have always found that to be needlessly cumbersome. Maybe I am in the minority, but I memorize where all my songs are. I know the number for. I know what songs are next to it in the play list. It is much easier to scroll rapidly through the songs and stop where I want to. Over all it is a good device. Very good for the price you pay. The battery life is much more defined than the older models.

Not easy to use, lies about Supporting Mp4 video and mpg, Doesn't have a SD card slot, difficult to use. Does not work unless plugged in at all times. Gets a star because has games but the controls are weird. Seriously do not buy.

the ematic mp3 player was the BEST and a replacement for my old iphone 4s that broke ressently:( but anyways, whats so funny this mp3 player when you upload a video to this is a nokia watching youtube bacicly but i dont care since i never use a nokia before.

Had high hopes, but found it very disappointing. The device is cute but poorly made. Terrible layout/functions of the buttons, and the switches for On/Off, etc. are cheap little brittle plastic things that don't look/act like they'll last. Worst part was that the entire system became corrupted right off the bat, so that nothing worked on it, except the radio (giving 2 stars for that). Had hoped that RESET would clear everything off and rewrite the program so we could start all over, after it got corrupted, but no such luck. The entire device is not very intuitive for navigating, the text is hard to read, the corruption made it worthless, and all in all, guess you get what you pay for! :( Returning for credit and will try something else.

I bought this very one on April 9, 2017 and just yesterday it died ! Not to mention the number of headsets I threw away thinking they were the problem. This POS like every one of these ripoffs always break down within MONTHS of owning. And I take care of my products. DO NOT BUY E-Matic products ! I tried to be loyal but they rip us off EVERY TIME. Below are 2 past Emails and my LAST order info on this Ematic crap. Over the years I bought this cheap crap thinking MAYBE one would work. None lasted more than a few months and ALL broke the same way., A portion of prior letters are below. Amazon is covering this up. E-matic and Casio are CRAP. this mp3 player is great! can put many mp3 songs on it. very easy to use. can also voice record, use as an e-book reader and add photos as well. very affordable and compact!

Really great little mp3 player. It is actually a little bigger than i expected which is nice, it seems like lots of mp3 players now are the small jogging ones, but this one is a decent size. Really easy to use, you just drag and drop files from your computer, NO extra "music apps" needed on your computer, and no syncing! The only issues i would find would be that when you are playing music the song titles are small, but you can still see them so not a big deal, and the play/pause button is the same as the on/off button on the side of the mp3 player, would be more convenient if it was the middle square button but it just takes getting used to. If you are looking for a no nonsense mp3 that is easy to use at a decent price this is a great item! Its very light weight and the blue is more "turquoise" in person. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a "normal" mp3 player!

It won't take many forms of video or image, but it works. I have no real complaints, as it doesn't advertise the things it can't do well. Sure it CAN read ebooks, but I have no idea what format that would be. Sure it CAN play games, but the controls are clunky. Its fine, it works, I will use it, but It can't do much more than music.

Worked really well for a couple of weeks, then wouldn’t hold a charge and now won’t even turn on when plugged in.
