We are purchasing items for a September kitchen renovation. I received the matching faucet and it was new. I received this very expensive soap dispenser in used and in unacceptable condition. See the photos. It arrived broken and with glue or plumbers caulk all over it. It also looks like it has been used for a while by the color of the brass. The faucet was brighter. I have asked for a new replacement to be sent. I hope it will be okay.

The soap dispenser is beautiful and heavy. Excellent quality. The only downside is that you really have to press hard to dispense the soap. Is you’re older and have any type of weakness in your hands or arms avoid the soap dispenser.If you like getting a workout while washing your dishes then this overpriced beauty is for you. I don’t think any soap dispenser should cost this much or be this difficult to use

Pros: -Matches Moen's Weymouth faucet -Metal- Seems to be good quality Cons: -Pump has a lot of resistance. Pretty sure you will need 2 hands to activate--one to press the pump, other to catch the soap. (Disclaimer- I did buy an open box, so it's possible this particular one has a defect.) -Weymouth faucet is already a focal point. Having another equally as fancy item right next to it could be overkill. -Pricey for a soap dispenser. *Alternate soap dispenser option that is a decent match to Weymouth faucet: Signature Hardware 457678 Amberly Soap Dispenser - Brushed Gold *My solution? Ditch both the expensive Weymouth faucet and the soap dispenser and get the Delta's Oria faucet in Champagne Bronze. It has the vintage look at a way lower cost. (only available at Lowes)

Beautiful product, bit expensive but worth the price!!

In the past few months we have been replacing all our old faucets in the house with new Moen ones. In the kitchen we installed the Weymouth faucet in Brushed Gold (purchased from Rona), it’s a beautiful deep dark gold … a month later, I purchased this soap dispenser in the same finish to complete our kitchen set up, to our disappointment, it’s NOT the same colour, it’s just a little but noticeably lighter. First time that I’m displeased with Moen.
