Retiring these after 8 months
I work at a scrap yard so i have definitely put these boots through some tough times. Ive had them 8 months total and they started to rip from the toe about 4 months in. Great ankle support, great slip resistance, amazing long term comfort. I personally would only buy these boots again because of the comfort they provide. Downfall is that they dont last enough for me in my line of work but for the price they are good boots. Not many companies out there that make steel toed tall boots for women. I would have given these boots three Stars based on price and durability but the comfort is very much worth it many other boots I bought lose the padding after a couple months

These are terrible quality
I've had these for two months. I don't understand all the positive reviews. I suspect many of them are from people who either reviewed them within a day or two of receiving them, don't wear very many work boots and don't have much to compare them to, or aren't on their feet for 40 hours a week. These are awful. They are the least comfortable steel toed shoes I have ever owned. They refuse to "break in" to anything more comfortable. Eventually, I replaced the insole with a Superfeet insole. That makes them wearable, but they are still very scratchy, even wearing two pairs of thick socks. Even the tiniest drop of water stains the boot permanently, which is to be expected for a normal boot, but not a "waterproof" boot. These things are a joke. I regret buying them. Just go to Walmart and get yourself a pair of $20 boots, they'll serve you better than these do.

Don't waste your money
These boots run very narrow. They hurt my feet and knees after 4 hours. The cushioning isnt bad but the foot doesnt mold naturally.high arches. Huge waste of money on girly steel toe boots. I wish retailers worked with women designers for better fit. My Doc Martens are way better fitting and cheaper. I can wear those for 14 hours. I tried these Cats for a week in the metal fab shop. They hurt more everyday. Thumbs down. Bummed out. Just spent 150 bux down the toilet

Do not recommend!
I got these today (Sunday 6/21/20) and as soon as I took them out the box to try them on, they had stains on them. Aren’t they supposed to be brand new? They had a weird green lawn looking stain, a few chips/ dents in the steel toe area, and they wrinkled as soon as I tried them on. Thats not very convincing as far as durabilityI can say they feel very safe honestly, but they’re tight right before the steel toe part. They’re also not very wide. I wear normal width shoes and I’m around a size 5.5 / 6 and these fit a bit tight. I can walk around in them but I can’t really move my foot around or adjust if I wanted to.

Not breathable or durable
When I got these boots, I thought they were great. After wearing them several times with all types of socks, even moisture wicking, my feet are soaking wet at the end of the day. I could not wear them during the summer at all. Now after just a few months of regular wear, one of them is falling apart.

These are damn good boots! I've been wearing them for almost a month now 6 days a week in 85+ degree weather. And I work outside in construction. No problems at all. A little extra callus on my feet but that's to be expected with new boots and sweaty feet. Great ankle support! I'm walking thru churned up clay alot so that's important. I have planters fasciitis. I've had shots, therapy, to handmade Orthotics. And these boots rocked without the placement of the Orthotics. I'd buy these again for sure!

Your socks could take a great boot and make it terrible...?
I really love these boots. The compliments I receive from both genders, and wearing them all day on the production floor for 20,000 steps a day has had it's ups and downs. Great ankle support, great traction, shock absorption, but I have managed to rub myself a rather large callous on my right heel, and when I inspected the boot, I discovered this was a defect in the craftsmanship, and not necessarily a poor fit, though they were just as tough to break in as any other leather boots. The photos are from April 2nd, and these were purchased March 6th. Luckily, Caterpillar is sending me a replacement pair per their 30 day warranty, after I provide photos of the tongues cut out :( I had to go ahead and purchase another pair of steel toes on Prime, NOT Caterpillar, so they can arrive quickly and I can send these back. Fortunate that this pair is coming out of my company PPE reimbursement fund and not out of my pocket, or the disappointment would have been even more so. $149 trashed after 3 weeks?
