Tried this with my brown hair. It did not show up. I would not recommend this or use it.

but not because it comes off easily..
The wee one LOVES LOVES LOVES this stuff. . .it is everywhere. . but not because it comes off easily . . . because she puts it on everything. I tried it in my hair before giving it to her and it is vibrant and stays fairly well too (unless you're touching it a lot) It shows up well on dark hair but obviously it would show up more vibrantly on lightened or already light hair. But on her brunette locks you could still see it just fine.

I love this Hair Chalk!
This stuff really is like frosting on the cake (hair) I love it. I don't understand a few of the negative reviews, if you read the product box it came in says "color highlights for the DAY" no long term commitment, I put it around the face like a frost job, people have complimented me on the color and how it works with my hair, & I can wash it out no problem. Try it, it's a fun product.

Not worth the money.
Won’t buy again. Even after “setting” it with hair spray, it doesn’t stay on the hair. As soon as you you comb or brush your hair, it basically brushes out. I loved the idea of a temporary hair on my blonde/grey hair but disappointed how quickly it literally fell off the hair strands.

Great price and product
This product is AWESOME! I had read a lot about hair chalk but haven't gotten around to getting any because they always looked messy! I used this purple hair chalk and it looked awesome and was easy to apply with NO MESS! Stayed in place all night with a light hair spray!

Not good coverage
It was ok. Color was very light and I have blond hair.

Not too keen
The colour looks amazing in the pot, however it did not look as bright when rubbed into hair, a little disappointed as I love hair chalk and thought that this looked a nice colour.
