Tommy Hilfiger Men's 5-Pack Tank Shirt

I was getting tired of the thin and flimsey A-shirts I could get locally. So, on the basis of the reviews I sprung for these. They are definitely higher priced than most others but more than worth it in the quality and fit. The tail is fairly long as compared to the Alfani, Adidas, and Hanes shirts I own. But to me that is a good thing. I'm 5'10" and 190 lbs and the tail strikes me at about mid-glute. I think I will really like it in winter as my glutes get cold easily :-) The shirts heavier weight than the other I own and I consider that a good thing too. Overall I'm very pleased. I just wish they came in colors too (even if it is just gray and black)-white gets boring sometimes.

Aside from being just a bit larger than I would have otherwise thought it should be, it's probably the sturdiest "tank tee" style shirt I've ever purchased. I wore this into the local IHOP, sans overshirt of course - I'm no geek, and the combination of my snowy white tank top, my boxers teasing the top of my loosely fitting trousers, and my knowing smile, I was approached by several young ladies, a waitress, and a senior lady who wanted the shirt for quilting squares. The younger ones said they simply wanted to run their hands across my undershirt and could I please remove it first. The waitress wanted to know if I needed more coffee.

The size was OK, but length is really too long. I am 5'9, it almost can cover my entire hip.

For the most part I like these shirts. I used to love the old wife beaters from GAP but a few years ago they changed and the new ones totally suck (same story with their men's boxer briefs which used to be awesome too). These shirts are actually better quality than I expected; they are not so thin that they will fall apart after a few washes and size-wise they are pretty true-to-fit. A little too long for my tastes, but since I use them as an undershirt for business dress I just tuck it in. If you're a bit taller you'll probably dig it. Price is right too. Anyway, I would recommend them.

I wear these around the house and under all my shirts when going out (t shirts, dress shirts, etc...) So far, in my opinion, these are the best bang for your buck. The package has five tanks (unlike most other brands which only have 3 in a package) and I think the quality and durability of these exceed the other name brand underwear lines. If you follow the instructions for laundering them, you should get a decent life expectancy before they fray, etc... In fact, none of my Tommy Hilfiger tanks are frayed (unlike every other brand I've tried).

I've bought these shirts before and they fit as usual. They are very comfortable, durable and don't shrink.However, I've bought these same shirts before through a different vendor, and the brand/size/COO stamp in the neck appears to be painted on. After one or two washings, that paint begins to crack and peel. That in turn becomes irritating to the skin. If that occurs with these, I'll update my review. Please note, this is a Tommy Hilfiger issue - not Amazon or their vendor.

At first I wasn't sure about trying a different brand of this style shirt than I normally use, however, I'm very glad I did. These are breathable, though keep you warm at the same time, so I've found them comfortable regardless of weather. They are comfortable and soft, and so far have handled well with normal washing (on warm.) I am likely going to entirely switch to these, as I find the fit perfect on them, and they don't stretch out during the day as another brand does.

I bought these for my husband. He is tall and slender, and has a hard time finding shirts that are long enough and fit well in general. He wears tanks underneath all of his dress shirts, and really likes these because they are good quality material, a little thicker than most, and also tall enough to stay tucked in.
