Purchased these rubber pad / washers to use with tripod or similar equipment that had longer mounting screws that didn't fit fully into some cameras or other equipment (receiving socket depth was too shallow). So I'm using this to fill the gap in some instances. I wished I could find a somewhat larger, more rectangular rubber pad, but these are a good thickness, workable size, seems to be a durable rubber material, of decent quality.

This pack was cheap, and guarantees that I have spares when I need them. They're black rubber and will disappear, so having a couple extra is a good call. I mix these with some 1/4 by 20 bolts and couplers, so I have a semi permanent point to add small mounts for lamps and small cameras. They're a little on the thicker side, so be sure that you use bolts with some extra length for additional grab.

While the quality seems good, they are a bit thick and the rubber is squishy. If you want some spring to provide a locking mechanism against threads, they'll be great. If you want a pad to hold a camera rigid against moving (say a heavy lens pulling the front down), these may not be ideal.

Good Quality

I use MeFoto stands for portability with my audio gear. For rode/rycote blimps and other audio devices these metal to metal contacts didn't provide enough friction to be really tight and things would get loose too easily. These rubber pads appear to be a very cheap solution! They seemed too big, but with hard tightening they secure very well. So, if you are using camera stands with your pro audio gear and field recording try these out to get a secure, light weight connection :)

It took me an entire hour googling "rubber washer for camera mounts" on the net, and I came back empty handed. Amazon search didn't find it either. After much digging I was able to FINALLY locate this product and... I LOVE IT. I am an award winning filmmaker, with TONS of camera equipment and any gear that needs to be screwed onto something (such as cameras, monitors, lights, etc) easily comes loose if you don't have a layer of rubber between metals. These little guys solved all my problems. I loved them so much I reordered more :)... if you are tired of having your camera start to point west when you want it to point North, then this product is for you. THANK YOU!!!!

These work great to cushion the camera from various types of mounts. I have noticed unnecessary scratches and scuffs accumulating, so I wanted to get something to prevent that. These are very high quality and accomplish the task perfectly.

Makes it much easier to use screw items on a camera mini rig, don’t have to use pliers to screws things off

The product works as expected (buffer not to scratch camera and accessories). However, the pad I lost (and thus had to get a replacement with this one) was a lot more rubbery and felt like it would cushion/grip the camera better. There is nothing functionally wrong with this product, but I was looking for something that felt more rubbery.
