This brace is great! It definitely helps my back when lifting heavy objects. It helps to keep the back straight if that mays sense! Definitely worth getting and using if you are lifting heavy or big items!

I'm a house and mill carpenter and have over the years developed lower back pain. Not enough to call it a day but towards the afternoon I hurt. This back support is great. It's very well made with quality materials. Feels like it will last me a lifetime too. The Velcro is the closed loop stuff, if that's what it's called. It's the type that doesn't pick up all types of debris. So that's nice. I received the large size and it's close to being too big. I'm 5 foot 6 inches tall and and 170lbs, my waist is 33". While it does fit nicely if I lost 5lbs it would not fit. It's definitely has a wide range of adjustablity. It's pretty light weight. I wear a tank top then this brace and I put a tshirt over it. Nobody knows I'm wearing it most of the time. Other that the only thing I can say is this isn't the most economical choice. At almost $50 this isn't an economically friendly brace. And that's why it gets 4 stars, it's expensive.

I am very pleased with the back support while gardening and building things. In fact I purchased one for my daughter to use as we are a team building things like chicken coops, planter boxes.

Runs small even though it said S/M

Tore a muscle in my lower back which was flaring my sciatica, so I decided to try a brace and this one came up. I am not a small person, but my waist is smaller than 50 inches, so I assumed the OSFM would fit me, but it barely fits and is pretty tight. That being said, it has helped me walk around with less pain and has kept my spine straight which has helped healing, but I can't wear it for very long because of how tight it is.

The picture on this review shown is not what mine looks like, but that said it has a nice snug fit, completely adjustable for your comfort. It helps my back feel more stable when lifting heavy objects from side to side, it will protect your connective tissues from your glutes to your spine as well

What is needed and the necessary material to give user a good and firm fitting was not even considered by the maker of this item.

Finally my wait is over ,i've had a Muller back brace before recomended by my physio ,years ago but it was wearing out ,so i took the plunge and ordered a different drand,what a dissapointment they were ok but the wrap around straps were not up to standard ,and the so called velcro type sticky straps were not very secure so i went and ordered Again The Muller Back Brace, and one size fits all proper Velcro wrap arond straps that Don't come off no gaps in the straps ,sorry this is long winded but happy again al last . ps The Order deos take a long time to come through so be patient
