I don't use anything to dry out the barley. Not necessary where I live. It doesn't last long enough, either.

Is this “pot barley” or “pearled barley”?

This is hulled barley - it still has the hulls. It is excellent! Pearled barley has the hulls removed. I'm not familiar with pot barley.
