My son asked for a watch on his birthday. After researching a few different brands in the price range I needed, he picked this one from the list. The lightweight watch arrived in good condition, no issues. Easy to setup. He’s been wearing it for 2 months now and the time is still accurate within 1 minute. As far a features are concerned, he likes the several different backlight color options, stopwatch, and even thought the 12H to 24H clock feature was cool (9yr olds are easily impressed). I did not test the water resistance ratings. I’ve simply told him never to get it wet. Those ratings are often misunderstood and too many watch owners put too much faith in it. True water resistance/water proof watches are designed and built much better and cost significantly more money.

Great watch for kids. It was easy to set has a great display and it even comes with a alarm. But the back of the watch looks as if it has a rust build up coming on it. That's the reason I couldn't give it a 5 star review. My son wears it every day it's never in water so the rust is a little concerning. But my son is happy with it and it makes a great starter watch.

This is a $17.00 watch, not a Rolex Submariner. It doesn’t self-correct for leap year. It’s not going to survive a trip to the Mariana Trench. It wasn’t worn on the moon and if your kid drop-kicks it under a dump truck, ITS GOING TO BREAK !!! I had it set and telling time 3 minutes after taking it out of the box. For 17 bucks, you’ll get a SEVENTEEN DOLLAR WATCH ! Stop spending hamburger money expecting Waygu beef !!!

My son loved this watch but less than a month later the strap completely broke. He was not wearing it inappropriately or being too rough with it. Really disappointed with how short the watch lasted.

It's a beautiful watch with multicolored display modes, date/time, alarm, great price, and great features. My 10-year-old daughter loves it. I have grown very skeptical of the "waterproof" claims on non-casio/non-timex watches because they all seem to say "waterproof", when in fact, they are only "water-resistant". My daughter she was safe to swim with hers a couple times and water got inside the watch. Before it could all dry out to be visible/readable again, half the display LEDs stopped working so now she can't read the time anymore.

The only information on the face of this watch is the time, day and date making it extremely easy for young kids to absorb. There’s no other distracting words or symbols that might look cool but can be confusing or distracting to a young person learning to keep time for themselves. My son loves it and actually uses it. I got the XSm which is a good size for a kid up to around 80lbs. In my opinion. The watch piece connected to the band is about 1.25 inches. My son has a very small wrist (45lbs) and it fills the whole thing but still looks good.
