This only works if you follow a scent free regiment.
In my humble opinion, this is one of the best calming scents on the market.I’ve had deer 10 yards down wind and they remained calm as they fed past my set.Been using this for years.

Took biggest buck of my life... 5 bucks in a bachelor group came in and could not find me.... noses in the air looking for me but we're calm enough not to be spooked

Best cover scent you can get
This stuff is awesome been using it for years and me an my father turned on about half our club to it the deer don't seem to get as alarmed by you smell I see much more deer come in from down wind of me than before using it also works great I smear a little bit on the bottom of each other boot an deer that cross your path don't get bothered by your human sent then I rub a little bit on the bottom of my pants leg as a cover scent for me also it works all year long

don't spook deer.
You never know if these types of products work. I place on the soles of my boots when walking to stand. I have had deer cross my path I used to get into the stand pause and not spook and in the same token have had them turn around. I think this is a safe bet because its just general deer smell not an attractant. Ill keep using to get that 1%. If you do 20 things that each, give you a 1% better chance at killing deer then you have a 20% better chance.

Lid is loose/package is LOUD!
I think it is a good cover scent. However, the resealable package it comes in is extremely loud. Think crinkling potato chip bags. Also, the lid is not tight. The lid slips off whenever you attempt to take it in/out of its crinkly package, at which point it gets very messy. I put it in a zip lock baggie which fixed the sound, but then it's just a mess in a baggie. So I put a rubber band on it. I think whomever invented it does not hunt. If they would fix these two flaws, I would give it five stars.
