ESV Illuminated Scripture Journal: Psalms

I absolutely love these little books. I'd like to get the whole set. The artwork is gorgeous. These are meant to be little journals and the paper is plenty substantial for journaling or notetaking. Great for individual book bible study. My church has used these and I love them. They are gorgeous and also a nice small focus study book. My only complaint is the manufacturers packaging and handling of these. Waaaaayy too many of these gorgeous books are getting damaged. I actually bought two for gifts and unfortunately ended up returning this Psalms one because it was just too bunged up to gift. I never did reorder it figuring I'd just wait for another messed up one. Such a shame and a waste. If you can manage to get ahold of a nice one, these are definitely worth it. Seller!!!!-PLEASE add some protective coverings over these books!

I really loves these books I've ordered so many I like the space for notes and the quality of the graphics and pages. The embossing of the book makes any of these a great gift.

I love 💞 these beautiful to look at scripture journals of individual books of the Bible! Each has a different gold foil design on the cover and every other page is blank except for faint lines for people like me, who's writing falls downhill without it. The scripture is ESV translation. I really digg these cuz of their convenience for Bible studies. Each session, I use a different colored, no-bleed fine tip gel pen with great results. I now have more than a half dozen of these single Old Testament books, then I got smart and bought the whole New Testament set at a bargain price with a type of dust cover box that they live inside of. Well worth the slight investment!

Beautiful journal and scripture of Psalm. Enjoyed reading this as a part of my daily quiet time. Plenty of space to take notes.

This was really pretty for a gift.

This book is AMAZING!!! The translation is very good. My favorite translation for psalm is the passion translation 2nd edition. If you haven’t read that I highly recommend but this one is probably my second favorite as far as the wording. The journaling capability is mind blowing. I love that there are bite size amounts to read on each page and opportunity to draw or write whatever the Holy Spirit places on your heart or brings to your mind. My daughter who is 9 is also using one and we read the one page of scripture a day and draw a picture on the other page. You can also purchase stencils to trace if you feel as though that would be easier to draw. The pages are a perfect thickness to handle all the drawing and coloring. I have done drawings on bible pages and many times have torn through the page because the pages are more fragile. This makes the perfect gift idea or surprise for almost any occasion. My ONE complaint is that I am worried that the cover will not last through me journaling the entire book. I keep the book in a protective padded sleeve and the edges are showing some wear already and the gold on the front is showing some scratches. I have included a picture to show what I’m talking about. I would still buy this book over and over a million times but it is also going to be a keepsake I want to last for a very long time.

This is a *very* nice book. Solid construction, the gold design is very well done and doesn't rub off and the pages are thick too. I am so pleased! This is for my personal use, but it would make a great gift too. I can see gifting it for a confirmation, baptism, Christmas or Easter. I can even see it as a thinking of you/condolence item; it would be a wonderful way to prompt journaling as you move through significant illness or the process of grieving. I am glad I bought it and would buy it again.
