This product is amazing, I brought this for my dad because right now, he can't do surgery due to the Corona. But, this product is hard and the middle of it pokes out to keep your hernia in. It also has Velcro on the back of it to attach to your clothes but it's better to use with a stomach wrap and, the best way to wash wash it, is to use a mesh laundry bag (the one that looks like a fish net) and put it in the washer machine, either on gentle cycle or low heat, and use regular detergent and then air dry.

If you're expecting a lot of pressure to be placed on your hernia, forget it. This does it's job, adds a little more spot-specific pressure than just having a wrap on. I don't think anything else would be better.

When my hernia protrudes and will not push in, I put this on my binder and wrap it tight around my waist. I then lie flat with my arms above my head. The constant pressure pushes it back in in a short amount of time. This device has been a lifesaver. It has eased a tremendous amount of pain.

Originally I wasn't so sure this would do anything but it actually helps with the pain especially during workouts and cleaning around the house you do have to wear some type of girdle or a compression shirt but it's worth it because the hernia belts squeeze my stomach and our uncomfortable

I have one pad on the belt already, but needed another due to two hernias, which is beige and would have liked the other one to match.
