and is also more comfortable than the Pro-35A/KTXPRO1's as well
Bought a set of these to replace an older set of Radio Shack Pro-35A / Koss KTXPRO1 headphones and a set of Sony's MDR-ZX100 headphones and must say the audio output quality of these outshines them both audio wise, and is also more comfortable than the Pro-35A/KTXPRO1's as well. Purchased the Android version of the ZX300 as it was lower priced than the standard MDR-ZX300 was at time of my purchase. Lets you hear nuances from music and even talk radio that you just don't or can't hear over many speaker setups or other headphones. First time listening to music through these that I though I was well familiar with lead to a new and welcome listening experience, As I won't spend more than $50 on headphones I can't compare to much higher end offerings, but I would imagine they would give them a run for their money. Also works quite well with voice calls, though since I don't use the voice activation features the button on the microphone is not as useful for me. Never had a complaint of the person whom I was speaking with having troubles hearing me. Headphone and microphone do also work with iPhone's but the voice activation button does not function with them (though Sony also makes an iPhone variant of the ZX300's for those with iPhones).

Great headphones for the price
This is one great headphones for the price. The audio is great, and there is enough bass for dubstep and electronic. However, there are some cons about this headphones. The headphone is made out of plastic, but it does look nice. Sometimes when the headphones for a few hours, my ears will get sweaty. Since there are no cushion on the top, you have to pull down the headphones more in order to have it level. Another cons about this headphone is that the mic and the button will not work on a S4 Active. I looked forward to use this headphone with my phone, but the mic and the pause button didn't work. In conclusion, it is a great headphone and hope it lasts a few years.

Eh
Good for the price. The only plus side is the ability to control your phone from it. The sound is okay as long as your not trying to listen to music with much bass.

I have a pair of Sony headphones from 2010 that still sound great and stand together
These headphones really illustrate the downward spiral that Sony and the quality of their products have beein in for a while and is a shame. I have a pair of Sony headphones from 2010 that still sound great and stand together. These headphones I'm guessing will not last a year.Starting with the construction, the foam in the headset feels too soft. The cable is already deforming after a couple weeks. The sound is bland and kind of muffed. There are volume fluctuations which I don't have with other headsets. The only good thing seems to be the quality of the mic, just because I have had no complaints from people in conference calls. I'm expecting the plastic to break anytime now. I don't know if Sony lost quality because of the rising of Apple or Apple rose because of the Sony quality loss.

This headphones is very good and it performs well for nearly three months
This headphones is very good and it performs well for nearly three months. I often did exercises like jogging and hiking while listening to radio and music with it. It is very reliable. No problem. BTW, the sound quality is also perfect proportional to its price (just around $30 when I bought it)

pretty good but...
These headphones are pretty good. The microphone is great. It would be nice if there was a better way to tune the button control or if there were more buttons. The one thing I'm disappointed with, is the lack of bass response. The clarity of sound is great as usual with Sony products but the lack of bass was disappointing. I've had Sony headphones before and they certainly had more of a bass response. Overall, they're pretty good. I will say that a thicker cord would've been nice. 4 stars for me. Now if they improve the bass response and add some more function buttons, it will get 5 stars.

A good sound for sore ears
Sound is great but the spring tension on the headset it way too tight. It makes your ears sore.
